"Oh there he is!" Winter exclaimed unknowingly aloud as she ran in a skippy manner to catch up to Jaemin.
"Hey!" She smiled broadly.
"Hi?" Jaemin was vividly confused at how she seemed to be running out of breathe. "Are you okay?"
Winter wiped off the sweat on her forehead with the back of her hand. The sun was scorching, luckily they were standing under a shade, right outside the cafeteria.
"Yeah, are you free? I need urgent help..." She paused for a second before coming up with what she presumed to be the most plausible excuse. "With my computer."
"Huh?" Again, he was left trying to read between her words.
"You study computer, right?" Winter's eyes widened inquiringly.
"Bro..." baffled, Jaemin hit his forehead with his palm dissapointedly.
"Am a female!"
"Whatever, I have a lunch date with Karina." Jaemin wiggled his eyebrows and smiled with his mouth closed.
Exactly why I need you...
"I mean it's not exactly a date but I am joining her and Jeno." Jaemin added for clarification.
Winter's face suddenly became serious, a hint of dissapointment evident in her eyes.
"Just this one time..." She decided to play her secret weapon : her eyebrows furrowed upwards further enhancing her puppylike eyes, her lower lip stuck above her upper lip in an almost pouty manner and her fingers played with the rims of her mini denim skirt. A tactic that always worked because she was pretty and men were easy.
Jaemin's eyes fluttered momentarily before he looked away. There was a cough before he said, "Is it really that urgent?" He was touching the back of his head as he asked. Logic left his entirety for he didn't question why she didn't just take it to a computer technician instead.
She nodded gently, still looking up at him. They say big brown eyed girls don't need rizz, their eyes do all the work and it was so true. Jaemin was indeed as easy as she thought he would be. Because, tell me why was Jaemin contemplating his feelings for Karina on the spur of the moment.
"Where's your computer?" Jaemin asked her. He knew he would probably not know how to fix it especially if it was a hardware issue but he still decided to give it a try.
"Home." Winter said coyly. "It's a desktop. Can you come with me please?"
"Sure." He swallowed hard before replying.

Jeno could feel his palm sweating. Not only was he bad at starting a conversation, he was also not very good at keeping up with people who had high tension.
Karina kept jumping from topic to topic sparing him little to no time to formulate a sentence to engage with her.
"The stew is actually good today! Try it!" Karina relished as she took a spoonful of the chicken stew.
Jeno did as instructed and just when he was about to compliment the dish, he gets a call from Jaemin.
Oh finally he woke up.
"Yeah, am already here." He said before hanging up the call.
"Is it fine if Jaemin joins us?" Jeno asked out of respect.
"Absolutely." She lied. If Jaemin came, Karina knew that he would undoubtedly take the spotlight. They vibed well so she feared she wouldn't be able to get Jeno to open up.
