Chapter 13: realization?

Days passed, Forth continued his courting to Beam, but Beam also continued to ignore him. He never once paid attention to the poor Forth. But the latter is so persistent, even Beam ignored him and kept rejecting him. 

"Bro what happened?" Asked Lam when he see Forth in their classroom looking gloomy and down.

Forth heave a deep sigh before he answers Lam's question. "I don't know what to do anymore, Beam kept ignoring me. It's been 2 months already." He said but instead Lam give his sympathy to his friend he chuckled mockingly.

"It's just 2 months Forth and you're complaining already. Remember what you did to Beam, you rejected him since we were kids and he didn't complain, he didn't even say a single word to you when he gave up." Said Lam "Just put some extra effort if you're really serious in courting him." He continues

"I know Lam, but I don't know what to do." Said Forth and he began to cry. Lam sit beside his best friend and gives him a handkerchief.

"Forth, don't lose your hope, maybe Beam is just testing your sincerity on courting him."

"I hope so, Lam." He said and wiped his tears. "I'm just hurt by the cold treatment he gave to me but I won't give up." He continued.

"Yes, maybe this time Beam will pay attention to you." Said Lam, he feels pity for his best friend, but there is no one to blame but him. If he just realized that he also loves Beam ahead of time, nothing like this will happen.

The next day, Forth has all the courage and energy to pursue Beam again. He fixed himself and bought a bouquet of flowers to give to Beam.

At the medical cafeteria, Beam and his friends were eating their lunch when Sharp, their senior, approached them.

"Hi guys." He said

"Oh hello Phi." Said Phana and they all waid to Sharp.

"Hi Beam." He greeted Beam separately.

Beam awkwardly smiles at Sharp. "Hi..hi Phi." He said and waid to him. Sharp dazzlingly smiled at Beam before he spoke again.

"Can I join you for lunch?" He said while looking intently at Beam before he looked to the other.

Phana, Kit and New give a knowing look at each other before they nod to Sharp's request. Sharp sat in front of Beam and happily joined the group. Sharp is a nice senior to them, he is also a top student, varsity player and a leader of some of the clubs in their school. In short, Sharp is a bright student that every girl and boy dreams of. But this time, Phana, Kit and New sense something.

They already knew that Sharp is interested in their friend,Beam. But Beam, to their surprise, is also talking to Sharp happily. The three just take a glance with each other and as if they are talking with the use of their mind like "Let's talk to Beam later."

Beam and his group laugh the whole time that Sharp is with them, especially Beam. He enjoyed Sharp's company and that is the scenario that Forth saw when he went to the medical cafeteria with his flowers. He got hurt by the scene he saw and just decided to leave. 

Lunch is over and Sharp bid his goodbye to the group and they went back to their room for their last two subjects when Beam saw a bouquet of white roses being placed on his table.

"Ow…flowers." Said New

"Who gave that?" Asked Phana and walked beside Beam checking if there was a card in the flowers but they didn't see any.

"There's no card." Said Beam and held the flower in his hands.

"Is it from Phi Sharp?" Asked Kit

Beam stared at Kit and asked. "Why will he give me flowers?" Asked Beam with confusion.
