Chasing You

chapter 6: stolen picture.

Phana and Kit came rushing to the hospital when they heard that Ben regained consciousness and Beam arrived. They abruptly open the door and all the people inside the room looked at the door where the two were panting, out of breath. 

"Uncle, we're glad that you're already awake." Said Phana first and approached Ben's bed with Kit tailing behind him

Ben smiles at the two and opens his arms to hug them. The two immediately hug the older. "Yes my sons, uncle is ok now. I am stronger as a bull now." He said and the two chuckle

" Of course you are." Said Kit. They hug for a while. The two were Beam's best friends, they grew up together and Beam's parents treat them also as their own son's.

While Ben hugged them, Beam stood in a corner watching them. He has tears in his eyes. How he misses these two so much. 

Kit is the first to loosen the hug and he saw Beam shed his silent tears. He immediately went to him and hugged his best friend. Soon Phana approached them and joined the hug.

"I miss you so much Beamie, we miss you so much." Said Kit while crying.

"Yah we miss you so much, don't ever leave us again." Said Phana. Beam vigorously nods while crying.

"I missed you so much, i won't leave you all again promised." Said Beam while in tears.

"We will protect you this time, hmmm?" Said Kit while wiping Beam's face with his thumb and Beam nods while snipping. "We will not allow anyone to hurt you again." He continues

"They will encounter my fist this time." Said Phana with gritted teeth and with that Beam chuckle.

"Ok..ok..stop being possessive Mama and Papa." Said Beam playfully and Kit pout and Phana smack his head.

"Oi..we just saw each other today and you hit me already." Said Beam acting as if he was seriously hurt. 

"Stop calling us mama and papa ok. And mind you, I don't want you to be my son." Said Phana

"And why? Hmm?" Said Beam while smiling "I am handsome and intelligent." 

"That's the point, I don't like your handsomeness, it will cause us too much trouble." Said Phana 

"Girls and boys for sure will take their line to get near you, and we don't want to be your bodyguard, dah." Said Kit rolling his eyes and continuing their bickering when granda Loli calls them to eat.

After they finished their food, they still continued to talk. They really miss each other.

"I am so happy that our baby boy can smile genuinely now." Said Bern while he massaged his husband's arm.

"Yes, and I hope that no matter what happens in his life now he can manage to solve it without running away again." Ben and Bern nod.

When Ben fell asleep, Thype and Thea asked the three to come with them to a coffee shop near the hospital and they all agreed.

In the coffee shop, when they all settled and took their orders, there's a man who approached Thype and kissed his head. It's Tharn, Thypes boyfriend and Forths brother, yes he is Forths brother. And Beam knows that he is Forths brother but he doesn't know that Thype has a relationship with the man.

Tharn greeted all the people at the table.

*Swadee Phi." Said Phana, Kit and Thea. And he nods and he lands his eyes on Beam who is still intently looking at him, as if asking for an explanation why he kissed his brother's head.

Thype make a fake cough to ease the atmosphere. He looked at Beam who was still staring at Tharn. Tharn is just smiling genuinely back at him. He holds Beam's hand. "Baby, ahm Tharn is my boyfriend now, we've been together for two years now." He carefully explained it to Beam.

Beam averted his gaze to his brother. "Two years Phi? Why didn't you tell me?" Asked Beam still no emotion can be seen in his face.

This time Tharn is the one to talk. "Ahm Beam, I am sorry if we didn't tell you. It's just I am afraid that you might get angry to Thype, because of me and…..and Forth." Said Tharn, unsure of his words.

Beam looked at him. "Why do you think that way Phi?" He asked Tharn, this time with a soft tone.

"Because of what my brother did to you, I also think that you might get angry at me also." Said Tharn "I am sorry Beam." Said Tharn apologetically.

Beam heaved a deep sigh and spoke. "Phi, what happened between me and Forth is our problem, I don't have any intention to get mad or angry also to you, you've done nothing wrong to me Phi." Said Beam. "It's just that…I am so worried about my brother….what if…what if…you also hurt him." Beam said, lowering his head. He is about to cry when Thype stands and sits beside him and hugs him.

"Sshusshh baby, don't cry please." Said Thype.

"Beam, I promise that I will never hurt your brother, I love him so much." Said Tharn looking at Thype lovingly.

Beam loosened the hug to Thype and looked at Tharn. "Don't make any promises Phi, promises are meant to be broken." He said

"I know Beamie, but as for my case, I am head over heels to your brother, I have loved him so much since diaper days, you know.." Tharn said and winked at Thype, and the latter blush

"Oi Phi, you're blushing." Said Phana teasingly and Beam abruptly looked up to his brother.

"Oh my. Phi you're like an overripe tomato." This time Beam teases his brother also. Thype covered his face with his two palm.

"Oi stop it." He looked so shy.

Beam looked at his sister. "Phi Thea, do you believe that Phi Tharn truly loves our brother?" He asked

"Yes baby. I have seen how Phi Tharn struggles to get Phis heart and attention." She said with giggles remembering the time that Tharn courted their Phi.

"Ok. If you said so….well i hope that your relationship will last, and please don't hurt my brother Phi." Beam said 

"I won't Beamie, I promise." Said Tharn and they continued their bickering and talking. No one dared to ask Beam about Forth and no one dared to bring out a topic that included Forth.

Tharn got a call from his client and he excused himself to take the call. When he was about to return to the table he received a text message from Forth.

"Phi..how is he.?" He asked

"He is looking good bro. Still beautiful as it is." Tharn playfully reply to him.

"Can you take a picture of him for me?"

"Nope…i won't."

"Please Phi, I am begging you…please…🙏🙏🙏."

"Forth, it's inappropriate to take pictures of someone without their permission."

"Please Phi. I am begging you, I wanted to see him even from a picture."

"Ok..ok.. if I get a chance I will take a picture of him."

"Thank you Phi, you're the best."

"Whatever."

And then Tharn goes back to their table. He takes time to be able to catch a picture of Beam. And when he get the chance he takes it. Here is the picture he takes.
