Cake

It's been a year since Eric threatened me. He hasn't done anything but I know he is waiting for me to go into initiation so he can punish me since he is a dauntless leader and trainer.

Besides the worry of him, nothing really exciting has happened besides, Four, the stiff, getting first place in initiation and Zeke getting second and Shauna 10th.

Four and I have gotten a lot closer and I am starting to have feelings for him, but I know we are best friends and I don't wanna ruin that. We hangout whenever he isn't working in the computer lab or training initiates.We are currently heading to lunch.

"Four!! Set me down!" I scream and laugh at the same time. He juts keeps running and laughing.

As we get to the entrance of the cafeteria he finally sets me down and the gang catches up.

"Wow Four your fast", Uriah puffs out as he continues to catch his breath. "Even while holding my sister."

"Well she doesn't weigh much." he says looking at me. I blush and look down and mutter 'yea' silently.

We walk into the cafeteria then and I run up so I'm in front of everyone else. I grab a burger and the last slice of Dauntless Cake. Uh OH! I'm gonna be in trouble with Four. He goes crazy over Dauntless cake.

I get out of line as fast as I can and go over to our table. As soon as I sit down, I stuff my face in Dauntless Cake. As soon as I put the last piece in my mouth and slide the plate to under Eric's table, who is behind us, a very angry Four comes over with a burger on his tray and no Dauntless Cake. I keep my face down just in case I have chocolate on my face, which I probably do since I was in a rush to eat it.

Four sits beside me and Zeke across from me, Shauna next to him, Marlene and Lynn next to her and Uriah next to me.

"Sorry there was no more Dauntless Cake Four. We will come early tomorrow morning." Zeke says.

I grab the nearest napkin and wipe all the chocolate off my face and throw it under the table.

"I saw Eric take the last piece", I whisper in Four's ear. He then slightly looks behind us without being obvious and stands up. This should be fun.

"Hey Eric." he says and Eric turns around. "It wasn't very Erudite of you to take the last piece of Dauntless Cake." He then punches him and knocks him out cold.

Four turns around and comes back to sit with us while one of Eric's friends drags him to the infirmary.

Once I finish my food I decide it's time to come clean with Four. I stand up and then quickly say, "Sorry Four, but Eric didn't take the last piece of cake... I did!" I then run off. By the time I get to the doors of the cafeteria I hear him yell, "WHAT?!?!"

I laugh while still running my fastest as I hear the sound of heavy footsteps chasing me.

"I will get you Pedrad!" He yells. I laugh even harder and take two lefts so he doesn't see my second turn. I was right, and he runs past me.

He gets to the end of the hall which I'd by the chasm and looks around. I take this chance and when he's not looking my way, I run up behind him and jump on his back, catching him off guard and causing him to fall over.

He lands on top of me and we both laugh. He stares at me for a few minutes and when I start to feel awkward I say, "What?"

"It's just that... You're so beautiful." He says silently and leans closer and...
