Born Dauntless

The Plan

Tris POV

It's been a week since Four and I have kissed but we don't talk about it. We act like nothing has happened because of everything going on with training and figuring out our plan.

But Zeke, Uri and I have finally, in the past week, come up with a plan to destroy Eric. I wanted to go as far as kick him out of Dauntless but Zeke said that was too extreme and we would most likely get kicked out too so all we are going to do is make sure Peter doesn't make it past initiation and embarrass Eric in front of the whole compound.

Phase One of the Plan involves Uri, Lynn, Mar, Chris, Will and I doing really good to bring Peter and his little posse down to lower ranks and kick them out.

Four is taking me into his fear landscape today to help me get through as a Dauntless would and not like me, a Divergent.

I walk into the small, training room where there is now another chair next to the permanent one.

"Ready to do this?" he asks looking up from the monitor. "Shut the door."

"As I'll ever be, but are you sure you want me to go into your landscape? We could always do mine." I question nervously while shutting the door and walk over to the computer where he is typing rapidly.

"No. I think it's time you learn more about me," He smirks. "Oh. And I have less so it won't take as long." I laugh and sit in one of the chairs. He hands me the device to connect me to his landscape and he sits down in another chair. I close my eyes.

**That part is the same as in the book so I don't need to rewrite that**

As soon as Four hit Marcus everything returned to normal.

I look at him and he looks back at me.

I smile and say,"Your afraid of heights?" I laugh.

He gives me a weird look. "Your not gonna say anything about my dad?"

"What's there to say? You had a bad childhood that you didn't deserve because you are stronger than that. Especially now. You aren't a kicked puppy, that just makes you even more dauntless."

He smiles, stands up and walks over to me. "When it's just us, I don't want you to call me Four. I want you to call me by my real name."

"Ok Fo-Tobias. Gosh that's gonna be hard to get used to." I laugh and so does he.

He leans down and pecks me on the lips but before he stands back up again, I grab him and kiss him more. He kisses back and it's more heated than the last one but it gets interrupted by four knocks on the door and a little laugh.

Ugh Uri.

"Hey it's time to embarrass Eric. You done yet?" He asks and opens the door. Tobias quickly jumps away and goes back to the computer before Uriah sees anything.

"Uh yea. We should go." I reply and give Tobias a quick glance and then follow Uriah out the door. 

We head toward the cafeteria, where most of the compound is at right now. On the way, Uriah stops at his post, which is in front of Eric's door. I continue walking to the cafeteria. 

So heres phase two of the plan...

Once most of the compound has taken a seat and is eating dinner, the screen, that the gang set up while I was with Tobias, will turn on and display "The Life of Eric Coulter" (A/N: Sorry don't know his actual last name) and then the screen will start a slideshow of all the embarrassing baby pictures that Will got from his mom back in Erudite. After the show there will be an even funnier video of when he got his head stuck in between the bars along the top of stairs. Eric by then, should leave the cafeteria and head to his apartment to be silly stringed by Uriah who will be live videoing the whole thing. If not, thats where I come in. If he doesn't leave, I will shout his name, which WILL bring his attention, and get him to run after me and I will lead him to Uriah.

It's not the best but our best included him being kicked out of Dauntless so... Its the best we could do. 

Soon, I reach the cafeteria doors but don't go in them. I look through the little window and see the screen turn on. As I watch I can't help but laugh along with the rest of the compound. I see Eric stand up and start trudging toward the doors. I quickly hide behind a corner just in time to hear the door open followed by puffs and loud stomps. When he disappears from my sight, I grab my walk-e-talkee and phone Uriah.

"Hey Uri he's on your way. Out."

"Copy that." 

I put the walk-e-talkee away and enter the cafeteria and head over to our table. Once I'm seated, the live video turns on. We hear loud footsteps and then see Eric coming up. Then all of a sudden silly string is sprayed onto him and the camera is knocked down. I immediately get worried for Uriah when I start to hear punches but then Eric falls to the floor right in front of the camera. It is picked up and it turns to face Uriah. Before he turns it off, he says, "Pedrads Out!" then the screen goes dark. 

By now the whole compound is laughing and when Uriah comes in they all cheer. I don't think they are making a big deal out of this because it was a good prank but because no one has don't anything to Eric to get him back for what he has done.

Uriah comes over to our table and tells us theres going to be a party tonight and then he grabs my hand and we leave the cafeteria laughing.
