Dauntless Games

Tris POV

"Alright!" Four yells from behind us and we all turn around. He is walking toward us with two big bags. The initiates look confused but all the dauntless born smile. One bag is filled with paintball guns and the other one is filled with paintballs.

"Transfers, you are probably wondering what we are doing. Well..." Four sets down the bags and reaches into it. He then quickly brings it up and fires a paintball. At me!!! A red splash of color hits my chest and I step back.

"Hey!" I yell while Uriah, Lynn, Mar and Four are laughing their butts off. 

"There will be two teams." Eric shouts interrupting us. (I think he jealous at how much fun we have). "Four and I are captains."

"You pick first." Four says.

I don't have to worry about Eric picking me since he has always hated me. Which will be the best considering I get to beat him. 

"Edward" he says.

"Tris." Four says knowing I have been wanting to beat Eric at this game forever.

I walk beside Four and Uriah with Lynn, Mar, Christina, Will, and Al. Im happy I got all of my friends on my team.

"Where do you guys want to hide the flag?" Four asks once we get far enough back. 

We all look around until I notice a ferris wheel behind us. It still has the carts in it so we can hide the flag in there. It will be perfect. 

"Hey guys." I say and everyone looks at me. "What if we hide the flag in one of the carts in the ferris wheel?"

Everyone talks about it and we decide it's a good idea.

"I'll go up with you Tris." Four says as I start waling in that direction. 

"No Four it's fine. I can go with her." Uriah says walking up to me. Oh no.

"Uriah, it's okay. I'll be fine with Four. Go split the group up into two groups and try to figure out a strategy to find Eric's team." I say and Uriah just nods and leaves.

"Shall we go?" I ask and Four nods.

I start climbing with Four behind me. I am careful to make sure that I only step on sturdy steps but I missed one and as I put my right foot on the step it falls through and I hold onto the ladder with my life. 

"Whoa. Are you okay?" Four asks and uses one of his hands to help me up.

"Yea. I'm fine." I reply and continue climbing.

I continue to climb up till i get close to a cart. I reach over as far as i can and then toss it in the cart. I look back to Four who is looking pretty nervous.

"Are you okay?" I ask and then realize something. He is afraid of heights. Im the only one who knows though. "Just don't look down. While we are up here lets look for Eric's flag." He nods cautiously and then we look around.

"There!" I shout out and point in the direction of a tall building. "Lets go tell everyone else."

We then climb down and as soon as my feet touch the floor i sprint over to our team who are in two groups chatting.

"We found the flag!" I say as i get over to them with Four behind me. "Whats your strategy?"

Uriah explains it saying that there are two groups. A distraction group and a 'catcher' groups as Uriah calls it. Im with Uriah, Four and Christina on the catcher group so that means we get to go and get the flag. Im so excited for this to work.

--Time Lapse-- (The rest is the same as the movie/book)

We won!!!! Im so happy! After we went zip lining the gang (Four, Uriah, Lynn, Mar, Christina, Will, Al, Zeke and Shauna) decided to do some Candor or Dauntless/ bean boozled so Im now waiting for everyone to come. 

"Zeke did you get all of the jelly beans?" I hear Uriah shout as I walk into the living room. I laugh and plop down on the couch. 

"Yea Uri I did!" He yells back coming into the living room with a bowl in his hands. "Trissy are you ready to be bean boozled tonight?" Zeke asks and gives me and evil smile.

"I don't see why everyone is scared of jelly beans. I love them so yea, I'm excited!" I exclaim.

"Yeaaaa...." Zeke says turning into the kitchen.

I shrug it off and then hear a knock on the door. "Ill get it!" I scream loudly. I skip to the door and open it to see the gang.

"Hey guys!" I say moving aside so they can come in.

"Gosh Tris your loud." Lynn says hugging me.

"I know" I say smiling.

We all walk in and sit in a circle.

"So what exactly are we doing again?" Will asks. 

"Candor or Dauntless and Bean Boozled!" Uriah and I shout at the same time. Everyone has a worried look on their face. Whats wrong? We always do candor or Dauntless and its just jelly beans. 

"Who wants to go first!" Mar shouts.

"Me!" Zeke yells.

"Let the games begins." Uriah whispers.

Sorry it took so long to write this. I had a writers block on how I wanted this to go. My other story was already planned so it has been easier to write that one but I think I know where this is going to go.

Also sorry this is a short one and please be patient with my updates. Im in school still so its hard to write. Thank you! hope you enjoyed!
