After that was said and done, Mizuna looks at him with a smile while they were in a secluded area with not many other cars present. "That was something."

Lightning nods and agreed with her. "Hey Mizuna?" He seemed like he wanted to ask her something.

An eyebrow raised in curiosity as she looks at him. "Yeah? What's up, Lightning?"

"Do you by chance have a hauler for just you? Or do you have to share with The King?" He asked, but he seemed nervous.

"I have to share with him. Why?"

Lightning gave her a soft and gentle smile. "I'm just going to come out and ask. Would you like to ride with me to the last race? I've had a lot of fun with you today, and I want to get to know you on a more personal level." He says genuinely and in a soft tone. "That's if you'll allow me."

Mizuna was a bit caught off guard. "I had a feeling you were into me, but this wasn't something I was expecting, neither was you being so polite."

He gently chuckled. "Yeah. I know I've been a bit....different compared to now, but I was doing it to catch your attention. It seemed like I grabbed it too." He playfully winked as he spoke to her in a bit of a flirty tone.

Mizuna smirks a bit. "You certainly caught it, alright. As for your offer..." She then smiles. "I'd love to."

Lightning continued to smile. "I'll introduce you to Mack, my hauler. He's great." He lead the way to his trailer.

Mizuna followed beside him as she walked.

They both came to a stop as Lightning spoke. "Where's Mack?"

Mizuna looked around. "Over there. That's him, right?" She pointed by a tent, where a red 18 wheeler was at.

Lightning dramatically sighed once he noticed. "Oh no..."

Mizuna looked at him. "You act like something horrible happened. What's going on?"

"I have to meet with the owners of Rusteeze again." He complained.

"What's so wrong with that? Do you not like your sponsors?"

"Mizuna, rusty old cars disgust me and make me uncomfortable." He says bluntly.

Mizuna sighed. "Lightning, just go. I have to go tell Tex and the others that I'll be with you anyways. You'll be ok." She assured him. "I'll meet back up with you in a bit."

Lightning dramatically sighed again. "Fine. Let's get this over with." He rolls away.

When he rolls off, Mizuna walked over to team Dinoco. They were already starting to load up when Mizuna approached Tex. "Yo Tex!" She said loud enough to get his attention.

Tex looked at Mizuna. "Hey Mizuna! Congratulations on your first win today. The next race is next weekend. You ready to load up?"

Mizuna smiles. "Actually, if it's ok with you, I'll be heading to the last race with one of the other racers."

Tex looked a bit caught off guard but he smiles. "Who is it that you've gotten that close to?"

"It's Lightning, actually." She admits. "He's been flirting with me so much more than you've seen today and he invited me along. To be honest, I think I'm falling for him too. He's not as bad when it comes down to it."

Tex laughs heartedly. "It's ok, Mizuna! Go spend as much time with him as you'd like! It's nice knowing at least one person has caught his attention. I trust him and Mack will get you to the last race of the season safe and sound."

Mizuna gives him a soft smile. "Thanks, Tex. I was hoping you said yes." She turns to walk back to meet back up with Lightning. "See you at the race."

Tex nodded. "Good luck with Lightning, Mizuna."

She walked off and was now out of eye sight. She soon appears back over at the Rusteeze tent approaching Mack. "You must be Mack." She says politely.
