Chapter 7: On the Road

She smiles. "Oh I'm sure." She then walks around back and walks into the trailer and leans her back against the trailer wall, crossing her arms. She looked around, noticing the cute bobble heads of him that were around along with the other merchandise and the lights, which weren't currently on. He had a nice tv in there too. It was big enough for her to ride with him, which impressed her when it came to the setup. She also listened in to his meeting with Rusteeze and found it humorous how he was acting, even if it was a bit mean.

Soon she saw Lightning back into the trailer, so she gives him her charming smile that she knew he loved when he first saw it. "Told you I'd come back." She teased.

He chuckled. "It's a good thing that I never doubted you even once, then."

She smiles. "So how did your meeting go?"

"I would've rather spent my time with a certain beautiful human." He said in a very flirty tone.

"Who? I'm sure she's wonderful." She says in a teasing and joking manner.

Lightning picked up on it and sighed, smiling at her and looking into her eyes. "I'll give you a hint. I'm looking at her." He still has his flirty tone.

Mizuna laughed a bit. "Well thank you. You're sweet." She says genuinely. "To be honest, when I first saw you from a distance when you were showing off for the crowd, I called you hot as a compliment. I never would've thought that I'd be this close with you. And so quick too." She admits, with a slight blush on her cheeks.

That made Lightning smirk. "I'm known for making others feel emotions that they themselves can't understand." He said in a very flirty tone, but his tone turned genuine and his smirk turned into a smile.

Mizuna laughed a bit. "Very funny, but I understand those kinds of emotions very well."

They then felt Mack pick up the trailer and start driving after the back was closed. Lightning pressed a button with his tire and all the lights came on inside the trailer.

Mizuna looked around with an interested look on her face. "I really like how the inside of your trailer is decorated. It's definitely better than Strip's in my personal opinion. Much more colorful and cozy if you will."

Lightning smiles. "It makes it look even better with you in here with me." He says genuinely as he looked into her eyes. "And it's a feeling I can get used to." He says softly with his tone being filled with love and affection.

Mizuna smiles. "I don't blame you there." She walked from where she was standing, as she now stood more in the light. "Since I'm interested in you too, why don't we get to know each other more?"

"Ok. How old are you?" Lightning asked bluntly.

"24. How about you? I've always been curious as to how you cars age here, unless it's how humans do."

Lightning smiled. "It's like how you humans do. I'm 24 too."

An eyebrow raised from her for a moment. "Nice. When I was touching you earlier, were you able to feel it at all?"

"I can feel everything you do to me." Lightning admits with a grin. "And I don't mind it at all."

Mizuna walks over to his side and reaches up on his roof and starts petting him gently. "How does this feel?"

He groaned and leaned into her gentle touch as she gently pet him.

When he reacted, Mizuna couldn't help but smile. "You're too cute." She says softly with adoration in her tone while still continuing to pet him.

He never responded as he was enjoying what she was doing to him, but she could hear his engine purring softly.

Mizuna was a bit off guard. "Wait...Is your engine purring?"
