Morning came and Mizuna was the one to wake up first. When she opened her eyes, she looked down at Lightning and gently smiled after the fun time they had. "Good morning baby." She says gently.
Lightning opened one of his eyes and smiled softly. "Morning hun." He said groggily, then opened the other one and looked up at her. "Did you sleep well?" He got himself back up on his tires.
"Like a rock." She kisses him on his roof and then sat up, now sitting on his roof once more. "How about you? Did you sleep well?" She asked kindly.
"Same as you." He says with a smile.
Sally then drove up to them. "Oh. This is where you 2 have been." She said with a sigh.
Lightning and Mizuna exchange curious looks with each other, then they both looked at Sally. "Something wrong?" Lightning asked.
Sally gives them both a small smile. "Lightning, Flo and I need to steal your girlfriend for a while. Go see Ramone, Luigi, and Guido." She says bluntly.
Mizuna got down off of Lightning, not breaking eye contact with Sally. "What for?" She asks curiously.
"Don't worry about it. It's not bad." Sally says, giving the couple a mischievous grin.
"Uh, ok." Mizuna says reluctantly. She then looks at Lightning. "I'll see you later then." She then got to her knees and kissed him briefly on the lips, then stood back up. "I love you." She says with a smile.
Lightning gently nods with a soft smile. "I love you too."
"Hop on. I'll give you a ride." Sally says to Mizuna.
MIzuna nods and hops onto Sally's roof and she sped off with Mizuna on board.
Once they were out of sight, Lightning headed off back to town too to see what the guys wanted.
"So what is all this about, Sal?" Mizuna asked curiously.
"Flo and I will fill you in back at the Cozy Cone once we get there." Sally said. "You'll both enjoy what we got in mind. Promise." She reassured her.
They soon got back and they pull into the cone that Mizuna and Lightning have been staying in. "Flo's gonna be in here in a second." Sally said.
Mizuna got down off of her. "What about Lightning? Aren't you and Flo worried about it him maybe coming here for some rest or something?"
"Him? Of course not." She says with a light chuckle. "He'll be gone for quite a while, so we have time to do what we need to do."
Flo then drove in. "Hey there, Mizuna!" She said, looking at her. "How are you doing this morning?"
Mizuna smiles. "I'm good, but I'm curious what you 2 wanted. Sally was waiting for you."
"Tell us something." Sally then spoke. "Have you and Lightning even gone on a first date yet? I'm sure it must be busy since you 2 are both racers."
"We actually wanted to when he got the road done. Why?" She asked curiously, looking at the 2.
"Well tonight's the night, honey!" Flo said, clearly happy.
Mizuna looked a bit confused. "But I don't have a dress or anything with me."
Sally grinned. "You don't? Go check the closet." She motioned with her front tire to the closet.
Mizuna walked over to the closet and opened it. Her eyes went wide as it showed a beautiful red dress with gold sparkles on it with red heels. "Holy sh-" She looked to them. "I'm gonna look damn good!" She says with a smile. "Did y'all make this or is that just this world warping itself to my needs again?"
