The next morning comes and the couple spent a bit of time apart. By the time they met up once more, Lightning was at Willy's Butte trying to make that tough turn as he had finally finished the road.

Mizuna noticed Lightning speeding around, and happened to notice an interaction between him and Doc that wasn't so pleasant, but she stayed hidden so she could see how things played out.

"What? Are you here to berate me?" Lightning asked.

"Listen, if you want to make that turn. Turn right to go left." Is all Mizuna heard come from Doc's mouth.

Lightning looked completely appalled. "Oh turn right to go left? Thank you! Or should I say no thank you!" He then did a burnout in his face and sped off in frustration. "Stupid old grandpa car. What an idiot." He muttered.

Mizuna raised an eyebrow. "That wasn't cool babe." She says over his V8 engine as soon as he reached her.

He suddenly stopped in plain shock, even reversing a bit. "You heard all that?"

Mizuna nods. "No shit." She sighed. "You know... you may think of him as some grandpa, and yes, he's old, but do you have any idea who the hell he is around here?"

"I don't care who he is. Who's he to tell me how to drive?" Lightning says bluntly.

Mizuna crosses her arms. "Oh you will. He's apparently a legend around here. Has the name Hudson Hornet rang any bells for you?"

Lightning's eyes went wide for a moment. "How do you know that? I mean, you're human."

"Simple. I snooped through his garage. I got proof if you want to see." She says bluntly.

Lightning gently nods.

Mizuna pulls out her phone in her back pocket and shows him, scrolling through the pictures she took of the Piston Cup trophies and even the news article of him after his wreck. "See? I don't think you should be disrespecting him like that. I didn't hear all of it but I heard enough." She says sternly. "Plus my old man told me back at home the same advice when I was still learning to drive on a dirt track. If you were drivable, I could help you figure it out."

His eyes went a bit wide. "He's the Hudson Hornet? I should've known." He sighed, clearly feeling bad. "It would've been great if you could help me."

"Trust me, it's tough. I could only imagine how tough it is on you considering you are the car. Not someone operating you." She says softly but still remaining stern.

"I can't be driven?" Lightning asked. "Huh. Damn. I would've let you." He said, giving her a soft smile.

She returned the soft smile. "It makes me really happy that you trust me that much, babe." She thought for a moment. "I've noticed how this dimension has been warping itself to fit my needs. Subtle changes, but still noticeable." She walked over to where the entrance to an actual race car would be. "It would be fun to actually drive you though." She admits with a small grin.

"Why's that? Am I that much more powerful and faster?" He asks playfully, grinning back at her.

"Hate to deflate that ego a bit, babe, but I'd say about the same speed, if not faster." She says with a small laugh. "So driving you would be no problem." She put a hand gently in that area, caressing it. "You're actually soft there." She says with a smile.

"Thank you." He murmured, letting her touch him there.

The surface seemed to disappear, and Mizuna raised an eyebrow. "What in the hell?" She says softly, and obviously Lightning could hear her.

"What?" Lightning asked curiously.

Mizuna blinked a couple times. "I might actually be able to drive you now. I can see inside and you have a seat and everything like my race car at home." She admired the beautiful black and cherry red interior he had.
