Morning comes and there was a not so gentle knock. "Miz, Stickers, you 2 got company!" Sally said.

Mizuna woke up first. "Give us a minute, Sally!" She called out, which woke Lightning up.

"What's going on?" He asks groggily.

"It's time for us to head back to the track." Mizuna said gently as she got down off of him to gather her backpack.

That made Lightning shoot awake as he hopped onto his tires. "I'm up." He says.

Mizuna smiles gently. "You can rest more on the way to the track if you need to."

"I just may. Let's go get loaded up babe." Lightning said gently, returning her gentle smile. He then opened the latch to the motel and rolled out first, protecting Mizuna from any paparazzi.

Mizuna walked out from behind him. "Wait... Are you protecting me from the paparazzi?" She asks curiously, surprised at the sudden act.

"It's a bit too early for their shit." He says bluntly, not even caring about the language. "I'm not gonna have you deal with it either."

"Thanks babe. I appreciate it." She says with a soft smile.

Mack noticed and honked his horn loudly as he rolled between his trailer and the couple to separate them from the paparazzi. "You kids get loaded up in peace." He then looked to the paparazzi with a grin. "Make sure you get my good side."

MIzuna and Lightning both smiled at him. "Thanks Mack." Mizuna said.

Lightning eased up on the protectiveness and turned around, backing into the trailer.

There was more then enough room so Mizuna walked beside him with her backpack on.

Once they were loaded up, Lightning pressed the button with his tire to close the latch. It then soon shut.

Mizuna looked around and walked over to one of Lightning's merchandise he had. "No fucking wonder the latch was opened babe. Look." She bent down next to him and picked it up. "It fell down. Didn't necessarily help that Mack fell asleep either."

Lightning just sighed, not saying anything.

"I'm gonna move them if that's ok with you." Mizuna said. "That way nothing like that can happen again."

"Go ahead." Lightning immediately said. "I don't want anything like that happening again."

Mizuna then picked them all up gently and just set them below where they originally were in a neat row. "You can decide what happens to them, but until then, that's where they're staying."

"Thanks babe." He said, smiling at her.

"Don't mention it." She said, smiling back.

Mack then hooked the trailer up and headed off. He came over the camera. "I'm sorry I fell asleep you 2."

Lightning sighed softly. "No Mack. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so selfish." He said, clearly feeling bad.

Mizuna gave Lightning a look of love and a nod of approval. "He's learned a lot during the past week. Not just from me but from the townspeople of Radiator Springs."

Mack smiled softly. "Apology accepted, kid."

Mizuna had something come to mind. "Uh... babe?"

Lightning looked at her curiously. "Yeah?"

"What about your pit crew? You don't have one." Mizuna brought up, which was a good point.

"Damn!" Lighting said, stomping his tire against the floor in frustration, then he sighed.
