The next morning, Daisy was surprised to get another visit from Ophelia. She welcomed her in and they sat down at the kitchen table with some coffee and pastries.
"So, how did you like my new recipes?" Ophelia asked eagerly.
Daisy took a sip of her coffee before replying. "Amazing as always! I loved the chocolate croissants the most though."
Ophelia beamed with pride. "I'm glad you enjoyed them!"
As they chatted and finished their pastries, Daisy couldn't help but bring up Samson's invitation to the gala.
"Samson invited me to a gala next week," she blurted out, feeling a little nervous about Ophelia's reaction.
Ophelia's eyes lit up in excitement. "Oh my gosh, that's so exciting! You better have said yes."
"Well..."
"Daisy! You should say yes! A gala?! That's where all the rich people go."
Daisy blushed at the thought and quickly changed the subject. However, she couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty about going to the gala with Samson.
Before long, there was a knock on Daisy's door. She frowned in confusion, not expecting anyone else so early in the morning.
When she opened the door, she was surprised to see Agent Richards standing there with a stern expression on his face.
"Good morning Richards," Daisy greeted him politely.
"Good morning," he replied curtly. "I'm here to pick up Sunny."
Daisy felt a pang of sadness at the thought of saying goodbye to Sunny so soon. She handed over Sunny and watched as Agent Richards took her without any warmth or affection towards her.
"I'm just as sad as you are." He mentioned.
"How many times are you going to mention how much you hate Sunny," Daisy asked jokingly.
"Enough for you to understand how much I dislike babysitting."
As Ophelia joined Daisy at the door, she curiously tilted her head at Agent Richards. "Well hello," she chimed cheerfully, extending a hand towards him. "You must be the infamous Mr. Richards. I've heard so much about you."
Agent Richards reluctantly accepted her hand, his stern expression unchanging. "And you are?"
"I'm Ophelia," she introduced herself with a grin. "A close friend of Daisy's."
"I see," he responded shortly, pulling his hand away and shifting his attention back to Daisy and Sunny.
