"Good work, Daisy! You've got all the evidence we need to arrest him. Just stall him for a little longer and make sure he doesn't run away."
This was the first time on this mission that Agent Richards praised Daisy, and Daisy was grinning ear to ear because of it.
"Thank you, Agent Richards. I'll make sure."
"I believe you, Daisy. Just remember, we're so close to cracking this case. Let's not give him any room to escape now. Don't make yourself seem suspicious and keep him interested."
"Yeah, alright."
With that, Daisy hung up and put her phone in her pocket.
Her morning had started better. She was glad that this mission was almost over because it was making her go crazy. But she did feel a bit bad.
What would they do to Samson?
She bit her nail as she thought, leaning against a drawer.
Would they just put him in jail or would they kill him? She thought about Samson being murdered and couldn't bear the thought.
She decided she would spend more time with Samson while she had the chance. She grabbed her keys and left her hotel room.
Daisy stepped out of her hotel and breathed in the crisp morning air.
The sun was shining and there was a light breeze, it was shaping up to be a beautiful day. She decided to take a walk around the city before heading to her friend's coffee shop.
As she walked, Daisy couldn't help but think about Samson. She felt conflicted about what she should do. A thought crossed her mind for a split second, but she shook it off.
Before she knew it, Daisy arrived at the small coffee shop owned by her friend Ophelia. The bell jingled as she entered as soon as Daisy walked through the door of the coffee shop.
Ophelia let out a squeal and ran to hug her best friend. "Daisy! Girl! I've missed you!" she exclaimed, holding on for a long hug.
"I've missed you too, Ophelia. And your amazing coffee," Daisy replied with a smile.
"Always my pleasure. But seriously, why didn't you tell me you were coming to New York? I would have picked you up from the airport!"
"I know, I'm sorry. It was kind of a spontaneous trip for work."
"Well, next time you better let me know so I can make sure you have a place to stay. You're always welcome at my apartment."
