It was the next morning, and Izuku woke up at exactly five o'clock in the morning. He got up and felt somewhat refreshed. He doesn't know why, but he does. He did his morning routine and got dressed. As he got dressed, he saw small spots of blood on his cast. Dang it. The blood stains aren't noticeable, but it could draw someone's eyes in if they looked close enough. Good thing this is a dark grey cast.
Once he finished getting ready, he left the house without looking back. Even though he walked out of that door before anyone else was awake, it doesn't mean no one saw him. On the staircase towards the left side lies Izumi sitting on the stairs. She is very worried about him and can't figure out what ticked him off like that. Her first instinct was sibling love, but the other is probably more.
"What's going on with you, Izuku?" Izumi thought.
Izuku walked for minutes and arrived at the same time he left last time. Izuku sat against the wall and closed his eyes. The image of him hitting Toshinori across the face was clear as day. Not only was he able to remember every punch he made, but he also remembered the adrenaline, the feeling every time his fist made contact with his face, and the emotions- wait.... emotions? He thought about last night, thoroughly, and realized he was......emotionless.
He never thought he would ever feel emotionless. The sadness wasn't there. The anger wasn't there.... Nothing was there. Despite that, he didn't even think to punch him. Among all of it coming up, he felt proud because he protected someone.
Izuku slowly opened his eyes when he heard the sound of a car pulling up in front of him. He stared at the car as it came to a complete stop and the headlights turned off. Mr. Aoi stepped out of the car and went to the back seat.
"Good morning, Mr. Izuku. How are you?"
"I'm alright. How about you?" Izuku asked.
"Tired. Stayed up all night grading everyone's tests, but it's finished."
"Must be tiring as a teacher," Izuku said as he stood up.
"It is," Mr. Aoi said as he closed his car door and walked over to the gate. He unlocked the door and let Izuku go in first before he did. "How was the homework? It wasn't too confusing, was it?"
"I was able to figure it on the runway."
Mr. Aoi got to his classroom door and put the key into the keyhole. "Izumi didn't help you?"
"...She won't be talking to me for a while."
Mr. Aoi opened the door and let Izuku go in. He closed the door behind him and placed his bag at his desk. "Something happened?"
Izuku remained silent and Mr. Aoi respected his decision. He walked to the desk in from of the classroom and laid on it. Izuku looked back when he heard the commotion and just stared at him. "Why do you lay on the table?"
"My classroom....my rules," Mr. Aoi replied without any effort. Izuku chuckled from the answer, sat at his seat, and looked outside the window. Mr. Aoi looked at Izuku and sat up on the desk with a groan leaving his lips. "Why do you look out the window?"
Izuku did not look away from the window while answering his question. "I like to look at nice things when I'm thinking. Plus, it's personal." Mr. Aoi let a scuff escape from his mouth and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I don't know what is going on at your house, but I don't like how it affects you," he tossed his hand up in the air, "Have you thought once of reporting them to the police? If you need help with that, which I doubt, then I could lend you a hand."
"I don't need help from you, I don't need help from the police, I don't need help from anyone," Izuku replied.
"You do!"
