Izuku has been laying in the same spot, where Izumi left him. He is crying in his arms with his knees pulled up to his chest. He feels miserable, sad, and abandoned. Why does it have to be me? What have I done to deserve this? As the tears came down faster, his sadness went away and soon changed into whole another emotion that he thought would never feel. 'Oh? What's this? You're....angry?'
Shut up. You're just a random voice in my head that only appears when I am sad. Just leave.
'I don't feel like it.'
I'm not asking.
'And I am telling you. Just because you're angry, doesn't mean you should hold it inside. Plus, this is the first time you've felt angry, so I want to see what happens next.'
Izuku lifted his head from his knee and looked at the same door Izumi walked through and yet has returned. "How long have you been here?"
'Since you were born.'
"Why are you just now coming out? Wait. Let me guess. You're only here for your amusement."
'That's partially true, but not fully. I'm here because I believe it is time for me to appear.'
"Why now out of all times?"
'I don't know.'
Izuku remained quiet as he looked at the door. His it began to wonder as he thought about everything that had transpired within the last two hours. Getting knocked out, hearing a sudden voice in his head, and being told by his own sister that she doesn't want to have anything to do with him. "Maybe I should disappear."
'Hmm? Where did that come from?'
"I mean, no one wants me, so what's the point of staying here?"
'True, but it would make since to finish middle school before leaving.'
"Why after graduating?"
'I don't know.'
"Can you shut up already? You are a pain in the butt and not making the situation any better."
'I can, but I don't want to...Hey, if I were you, I would get revenge.'
"On whom?"
'What do you mean, who? On everyone, who did you wrong; especially Izumi, Katsuki, Katsumi, and your so-called parents.'
"I don't think that it's a good idea."
'Why not?'
"Because it would only make me just like them: evil, cruel, and mean. I don't want to be like them. I want to be a hero, not a villain."
'Who said a villain can't be a hero?'
"Everyone."
'So, you listen to what other people say?'
Izuku remained quiet. He opened his mouth and closed it again. "...I guess."
'See, that's your problem right there. You listen to other people without even thinking for a second. You let people take over your judgement. And you let people boss you around. In the end, you still have high hopes for that person changing-'
In the background, there was the sound of a car honking. Izuku used his hand and gripped the edge of the window and pulled himself up. He looks outside the window and sees his parents coming out of the car. 'Here's a free lesson from me: Stop letting people take over your life. If you want to eat, eat. If you want to talk back, talk back. If you want to kill someone, kill. Stop letting others tell you what you can and can't do. And you can't expect people to change because they won't.'
