They have been driving for the past 20 minutes in silence. Inko didn't ask Izumi what she wanted for dinner and Toshinori didn't ask Izumi how her day was. Nothing. Izuku started to get anxious as he sat in silence. He's used to receiving silent treatment, but not towards Izumi. Izuku looks at Izumi and she is starring straight at the back of Inko's seat. Izuku then turned his attention towards the mirror and was startled by the sudden glare he was receiving from Toshinori. Izuku leaned back in his seat and looked out the window, trying to forget the stare he received.

After what felt like forever, they made it back home. Inko turned the car off and didn't move. The four of them sat in silence until Toshinori spoke up. "Izumi, go ahead and go in." Izumi grabbed her bookbag and left the car. Now I'm remaining, Izuku, Inko, and Toshinori alone.

'Your thoughts and this silence are getting on my nerve.'

'Then leave.'

'I wish I can, but someone can't let me go.'

'You say that as if I want you here and what do you mean 'can't let you go?' I never asked you to be here. And you still haven't answered my question.'

'I don't have to tell you anything.'

'Yet you are here, why? For your amusement?'

'Like I said, I don't have a choice.'

'There you go again, not answering my questions.'

'There you go again, not being able to understand that I don't have to tell you anything.'

Izuku let out a sigh and rolled his eyes. "It's useless to talk to you," Izuku whispered. "What did you say?" Izuku looked from the window and looked at his father in confusion. "Sorry?"

"You heard what I asked. What did you say?" Toshinori replied.

"And who are you calling useless?" Inko asked.

"...It wasn't important, and I wasn't calling anyone useless."

'Gasp! You lied to your parents!'

'Did you really just say 'gasp?'

'Yes.'

'Why?'

'Because you were calling me useless.'

"Where did you get me calling you useless from?" Izuku quickly covered his mouth and looked at his parents' contorted faces. "I didn't mean to say that out loud." There was another silence between the three and Izuku quickly spoke. "I'm sorry."

"I don't care if you're sorry! You should never call Inko useless, when you're the useless one! You are a good for nothing quirkless nobody, who can't even hold an A in math!" Toshinori yelled.

"Izumi has been holding A's since grade school while you're having A's and B's," Inko said.

"I'm trying as hard as I can."

"Try harder! Argh! Why can't you be like Izumi?! Have a quirk, have perfect grades, and be a good child!" In the mist of Inko yelling, Izuku heard something he wishes he never heard: "All you have been giving us is a nightmare."

Izuku looked at his father, who was now looking ahead. "Huh?" Izuku said in a low tone. Toshinori turned his whole body towards Izuku and gripped the chair tightly. "You heard exactly what I said! You have been getting into fights, not listening in class, and causing problems with your students."

"None of those things are my fault," Izuku replied.

"Don't you dare lie to our face and how dare you lie on Izumi? You know good and well she didn't do any of those things. What are you trying to do? Get attention?"

"No, I'm not," Izuku replied.

'Yes, you are.'

"Don't you dare raise your voice at her!" Toshinori said.

"I'm not. I'm using my inside voice," Izuku said.

'No, you're yelling.'

"You're doing this for attention aren't you?" Inko asked.

"N-"

"When someone asks you a question, you answer! Don't just sit there and look stupid!" Toshinori said.

'Answer the question, Izuku'

"I'm answ-"

"Answer my question, Deku!" Inko yelled.

"CAN EVERYONE SHUT UP!" Izuku finally let go of his anger that he had been holding out throughout the day. Before Izuku could continue on, a loud noise flew through the air. SMACK!

Izuku reached for his right cheek, where his father slapped him. "How dare you yell at us!" But a slap to the face wasn't enough to stop him. "I wouldn't have yelled at you guys if you would shut up and let me answer your questions and quit making assumptions!" Izuku yelled back.

"You are so disrespectful!" Inko said.

"Your life, attitude, and mentality is disrespectful!" Izuku yelled back as he grabbed his bookbag and opened the car door. "Where do you think you're going?" Toshinori asked. Izuku ignored the question and slammed the door and walked through the front door.

Izuku ran through the front door and went straight to his bedroom. He threw his bookbag on the ground and locked the door behind him. He went to his bed and laid across it. He grabbed his pillow and his eyes started to sting.

'Well, that was one heck of a show.'

"CAN YOU SHUT UP!"

'Why should I?'

"BECAUSE YOU'RE NOTHING AND UNIMPORTANT!"

'Ouch, that hurt,'

Izuku let's a small sniff due to his nose clogging up. His eyes started to water, and he felt his pillow starting to get wet. His emotions, the pain in his side and his legs, and his head all hurt. He has been through so much today, yet this is the first time he cried about this. Why does this world hate me?

While Izuku was laying on his bed, he heard a loud noise coming from outside of his room. "Dad, don't!" Izumi? "No, I will! Since he wants to leave. Then he doesn't get to leave; ever!" Izuku got off his bed and walked to the door. He unlocked it and opened the door slightly just for it to get slammed.

He started to get anxious and didn't understand what was happening. "Dad?"

"Shut up, Useless!" Toshinori yelled.

Izuku reached for the door again, but it wouldn't budge. BANG! Izuku felt something going against the door, BANG! Izuku eyes' widened once he realized what his father was doing. Izuku began hitting the door, trying to get out, but it was blocked off. "If you break down my door, I will break you!" Toshinori yelled. For a moment, Izuku wanted to stop, but not with something blocking his exit and entrance. "LET ME OUT!" "No! You left when you weren't excuse, you don't get to leave your room until we say so! And if we find out you broke out, your dead meat!" Inko yelled.

Izuku didn't stop hitting the door. At first, he heard shouting from the other side, but the sound started to down out. His strength started to weaken and his fist making contact with the door is getting lighter and slower. Until he couldn't hit his hand anymore. He slid down the wall with tears in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes with his hand and noticed his vision turned red. He wiped his eyes on his shirt and could see normally. He looked back at the door and noticed the monstrosity he put on his door. Blood splattered all over the door and not a single dint in sight.

Izuku pulled his knees to his chest and began to cry silently, with the voice in his head laughing at him.
