Izuku walked home without looking back. Izuku was tired of Izumi and was tired of everyone, and he couldn't wait to get stronger. 'How are you going to help me get stronger?'
'I'll tell you once you get home without getting your butt killed.'
'Why wait?'
'Because I don't want to waste my breath on someone who isn't going to make it to their bedroom alive.'
'Very funny'
After a while, Izuku reached his house. He looked at the driveway and noticed his parents weren't there. He walked to the door, unlocked it, and walked into the house. He wasted no time getting to his room and placed his bookbag down. "I'm home. Are you going to help me now?"
'Don't rely on others.'
Izuku did not reply for a while. "What?"
'You heard me. "Don't rely on others.'
"That's it? You're not going to give me special abilities? Instructions? Just some wisdom?"
'Yeah. That's all the help you're going to get for now.'
"Wait a minute, you made me do all of this, just for you tell me that?"
'Yup, goodbye.'
"Huh?" Izuku expected a reply, but he didn't speak. 'This stupid voice is good for nothing.'
Izuku kicked his bookbag against the wall with frustration. He finally did what was required of him and all he got in return was one sentence. He didn't even tell him what to do, nor how. Just "Don't rely on others."
Izuku looked outside the window and stared at the sky. It is a vibrant orange mixed with pink and yellow. The clouds are mixed with blue and were danced all around by the color of grey. Dark figures in the form of birds flying in the sky in the shape of a triangle; moving as one. How can he say I can't rely on others, but they can? I looked down at the driveway and no Izumi was around. I pulled out my watch and saw it was almost six o'clock. "She should be here by now."
I pulled out my phone and went to the Find My Phone app. He looked for Izumi and saw her icon moving fast. She's in a vehicle. He watched as the icon moved faster than it was before and got closer to the house. He looks out the window and sees his father's car drive into the driveway. With rush filled in Toshinori's blood when he locked eyes with Izuku, he got out of the car and marched to the entrance.
Izuku knew what was going to happen next and did not want it to happen. He quickly ran to his bedroom door and locked it. He pushed his desk in front of it and stood by the window. The loud noise of the door swinging open and harsh stomping getting closer to his bedroom door. Izuku was nervous and didn't know what would happen next. He has to come up with another plan just in case.
He looked around the room to find something heavy enough and looked back at his window. Izuku went into his closet and found a screwdriver. This must work. He moved his arm back and swung his arm with full force towards the window. He thought it did nothing to the window since there was no crack where he made contact with it but saw a small crack on the bottom corner of the window.
STOMP! STOMP! Izuku's blood rushed faster than ever before. The footsteps sounded like he was down the hallway from his room. Izuku brought his hand up again for another swing, when he heard someone yell from the other side. "You little brat!" He knew it was his father and quickly swung at the crack that as formed on the bottom. It made the crack larger than it was before, but not much. He swings again and again and again. The crack was slowly getting bigger, and he didn't think he had enough time. Come on! You stupid window!
