A few weeks later...
Location - Wakaba Residence
Your POV
It's been almost a month since I last heard from Mutsumi. She's been ignoring my texts and calls, which she always answers. I'm not trying to annoy her, I'm just worried about her, you know?
I decided it would be a good idea to go to her place next door and knocked on it. I waited for a bit and a few minutes later, her maid answered the door.
"Good to see you again, (Y/N)-san." The maid said as politely as she could.
"Hi. Is Mutsumi here?" I asked.
"I'm afraid not." She said. "She's out with her friends, and she'll probably be gone for a while."
"Oh, well, do you have any idea when she'll be back?" I asked.
"Well, I'm afraid not-"
"I'm home."
The maid was cut off by a familiar voice. I turned around and there was Mutsumi. She was wearing her school uniform and she had her bag with her.
Needless to say, she was quite surprised that I am here outside of her house with her maid.
"(Y/N)... it's been a while, hasn't it?" She asked.
"Yeah, almost a month to be exact." I replied.
Mutsumi came forward and took my hand. The skin on her hand was completely rough, as if she has been playing the guitar all day.
"Come with me. We'll talk inside." She said.
I simply nodded as Mutsumi took me inside. All of my questions for her would be answered soon enough.

Location - Mutsumi's Room
Mutsumi and I went to her bedroom. She offered me a spot on her bed, which was nice of her to do. I sat down on it, and she sat down next to me. There was a moment of silence before I spoke up.
"So, are your hands okay?" I asked.
"They are." She simply answered.
"Playing the guitar?" I asked again.
She nodded and I felt my heart sank a little bit. She's been playing the guitar this whole time... without me? Is she actually avoiding me?
"Where have you been going to play the guitar?" I asked.
"At a friend's place." She answered.
"Oh, I see..."
I looked away for a moment.
"I think it's for the best if you just... move on from me."
My heart broke even more.
"What? Why?"
"It's because I've entered a world that you can't even see."
"What does that mean?"
"Don't worry. You'll understand one day."
"Fine, if that's how you'll feel, then I'll be on my way."
I walked out of the bedroom, and began to make my way back home. It's bad enough that she was avoiding me, but now she wants me to stay away from her... I can't understand what I did wrong.
Now only that, I couldn't get what she said out of my head... She has entered a world I couldn't see. I don't even know what she meant by that.
Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter now... She wants me to stay away from her, and that is what I plan on doing. Well, Mutsumi... I guess this is goodbye.
