Adrien's POV
I was jumping in rooftops to go to our usual hangout spot where we can see the Eiffel tower then I saw ladybug nervously pacing around the rooftop while chewing on her nails even though they were hidden under her costume I landed beside her making her flinch a little, why she is acting weird.
"Hey" I said
"Hi" she quietly replied
"You ok?" I ask her being concern because I never saw her behaving like this before
"Yeah" she again quietly replied not convincing me at all
"What you wanted to talk about?" I came straight to the point she looked here and there for sometime looking everywhere but not towards me then she took a deep breath and said
"I am sorry" she apologized looking genuine
I blinks at her why she is apologizing? I was about to ask why but she cut me off
"Let me finished okay I am truly so sorry I shouldn't have push you away when I needed you I should have trusted you" I again blinks at her what
"And I do I really do I was not supposed to tell you this not like this atleast or I should have told you sooner than later but I was waiting for the right time the right moment not realising that the moment was already slipping away from me" she said looking down
I was stunned first she is genuinely apologizing and second where is it going
"Follow me" she said and swing away I followed her even though I was still confused after sometime we landed on marinette's balcony and now I was more confused as why we are here now
"Come on in" she opened the trap door and jumped in marinette's bed I again followed her and sat next to her with questions as why we are here? What are we doing here? How does she know marinette? She saw the confusion on my face and Said something unexpected
"Kwamis come out" and all the kwamis came out
"Nice to meet you chat noir" all the kwamis greeted me at the same time
I was stunned more like speechless wait- does it mean that marinette is ladybug? I looked at her to see that she was already looking at me more like studying me studying my emotions
"Spots off" she detransformed infront of my eyes and there stood marinette now where stood ladybug just a moment ago. She was wearing a simple blue jeans with a hoodie
Silence. Silence spread the room no one dared to say anything not even the kwamis then I saw tikki flying with others towards a box that have needle threads which sometimes I saw marinette taking threads out for sewing and then they disappeared inside the box. Silence again I was looking at her but she was looking down fidgeting with her fingers
"Breath" she whispered still looking down
I hadn't realised that I wasn't breathing I took a long breath then exhaled then I said
"Why?" she looked up now
"Why so suddenly you revealed your identity to me? You were the one who said it is dangerous to reveal your identity to anyone then why so suddenly" it was the only question that is roaming on my head as why so suddenly
She looked at where the kwamis disappeared and after sometime she said
"Did you realised that you are going to find out all the truth now no more secrets now" I was confused at what she is saying what does she mean by all the secrets I just only wanted to know her identity and nothing else....maybe
