Nagisa woke up a little earlier than the others, used to the routine of getting up early for hero training. Deciding to make breakfast, he noticed that no one else had beaten him to it.
Usually, Sato handled breakfast at UA, but honestly, he preferred Terasaka's pancakes. He got ready, put on some casual clothes, and headed downstairs.
Arriving in the kitchen, Nagisa decided on waffles. Just as he was about to start, Sugino and Kanzaki joined him.
"Good morning, guys!" he greeted them.
"Good morning, Nagisa!" Sugino replied, still looking half-asleep.
"Good morning, Nagisa. How was your sleep?" Kanzaki asked.
"It was great! I miss sleeping in my own room," he admitted with a chuckle.
Sugino nodded, "For sure. The dorms at school are so boring."
"Can I help with breakfast?" Kanzaki offered.
"Of course!"
"I'll make some bacon," Sugino said, seeming more awake now.
In no time, they'd whipped up enough food for everyone. Kanzaki went to the intercom and announced, "Hey, guys! Good morning! Nagisa, Sugino, and I made breakfast, so come down whenever you're ready!"
Within an hour, most of the kids were awake and had eaten. A few scattered around the house: Okuda headed to the library, Terasaka and a few others to the game room, and Meg and Yada went to the spa to relax.
"Sooo... what do you guys want to do today?" Kayano asked.
"Oh my gosh! We should go on a shopping spree!" Hinano exclaimed excitedly.
Literal stars appeared in Kayano's eyes, and she was off running before Maehara stopped her."Oh no, leave me out of this. And don't tell Nakamura... she'll get way too excited," he said, nervously.
"Well, it's too late for that," Itona remarked, pointing to Nakamura and Hinano, who were already at the intercom.
Isogai sighed as Nakamura's voice blared over the intercom, expressing her excitement for a shopping spree. It was inevitable—mentioning shopping was like lighting a fuse with her. Maehara's prediction had come true, and the group exchanged amused glances.
"I guess we're going on a shopping spree, then," Nagisa said, rolling his eyes playfully.
Isogai sighed again but couldn't hide his smile. "Alright, let's make a plan. We should set a budget so they don't spend all our money," he suggested.
Soon enough, Kayano, Itona, Sugino, Kanzaki, Maehara, Nakamura, Hinano, Hayami, Chiba, and Nagisa found themselves navigating the bustling shopping district, staying close as a group. Nakamura immediately dragged Hinano into a cosmetics store, her eyes gleaming with excitement, while the rest of the group wandered around, joking and laughing as they explored.
Kayano, always stylish, insisted they visit the trendiest clothing store. "I need a new outfit for the weekend. Something that screams 'cool!'" she declared. Itona, initially eyeing an electronics store, decided to join, hoping to find tech-inspired clothing for his missions. Maehara tagged along with a grin.
They spent hours trying on clothes, looking at gadgets, and snacking from street vendors. Kanzaki and Nakamura seemed to know all the best places for food, much to everyone's delight.
The boys took charge next, leading the way to a shoe store they claimed had the best stealthy-themed sneakers.
"You guys know we don't need sneakers— we get them from the ministry" Hayami laughed, already halfway through the door.
"Yeah, but they don't care" Chiba agreed, following the crowd.
The boys exchanged resigned glances but couldn't help laughing. Their day was far from over.
As they continued shopping, Nagisa spotted a few of his UA classmates in the distance. He tensed but then relaxed, realizing they didn't recognize him thanks to Kayano's quirk. Sugino, noticing his change in demeanor, leaned over and asked, "Hey Nagisa, you okay?"
"Yeah, I just saw some classmates from UA and got worried they'd recognize me... but I'm good. I look like myself," he said with a grin.
Sugino chuckled, "Perks of going to school in disguise, huh?"
"Why were you worried anyway? It's just shopping," Sugino replied, walking a bit slower."Oh, I just had some silly combat training at UA today, and I decided to skip it. Karasuma's training beats UA combat any day!" Nagisa shrugged.
"Wow, never thought you'd skip," Sugino remarked, amused.
"Yeah, I needed a break from hero training. Plus, you guys are way more fun," Nagisa replied.
After hours of shopping, they realized they hadn't actually bought much! The memories of running around and joking together were better than anything they could buy. Even the girls only ended up with a couple of things. One thing was certain, though—they hadn't held back on food.
Most of them, tired from the outing, returned to the house to relax. Some headed to the pool, while Nagisa made his way back to his room to chill for a bit.
