(I have a plan to rewrite/fix up some of the earlier chapters up to chapter 38, so i'll let you guys know which day i'll be republishing those chapters. By the way, does anyone know what happens when you republish a chapter? like what happens to the comments ans stuff....)"Alright, you all head back to The House, and we'll go back to the ministry building." Karasuma sighed. Their group had moved out and was now standing in the parking lot.
"Damn. The whole building was blown up." Yoshida exclaimed, looking worried.
Ritsu popped up on Yada's screen and smiled.
"You guys are back! That whole thing was so weird." She said, concerned.
"Understatement of the year." Hayami deadpanned.
"Did you figure out all the tech stuff?" Itona asked, taking the phone from Yada.
"Yes, actually. Takaoka had someone on the inside from the ministry building." She said grimly, and the others shuddered.
"Well, yeah but wasnt that the leave of virtue or something?" Maehara asked.
Kayano snorted, "You mean the League of Villians?" She shuddered, remembering the attack from earlier
"So what happened?" Irina asked.Ritsu's holographic image flickered for a moment before she continued. "It seems like Takaoka had been planning this for a while. He managed to plant someone on the inside to give him access to sensitive information—information about us, our training, and... well, about Koro-sensei."
The mention of their late teacher's name sent a ripple of silence through the group. Everyone stiffened slightly, even those who thought they had made peace with the past.
Karasuma frowned, his hands clenched tightly at his sides. "And no one at the ministry caught this? No suspicion of a mole or any unusual activity?"
Ritsu shook her head. "Not until now. I had to hack into their system myself to find the connections. Whoever helped Takaoka knew how to cover their tracks—almost too well. But I found a pattern, and I've sent the data to you."
"What about the attack from the LOV?" Nakamura piped up. "You know, when they had that guy impersonate agent mark? Do you think this has somethign to do with them?"
Itona's grip on the phone tightened as he stared at the screen. "So this whole thing was a setup? The attack on the ministry, everything?"
"It has to be," Kayano muttered. "But why would they help him? Revenge?"
Sugino shook his head, his expression tight. "It can't just be about revenge... Mr. K, you have way too many haters."
Okajima chuckled despite the tense situation. "But It could also be him working with the LOV! How would we even know? That whole attack back at the minstry was off— after we took those villans down nothing happened."
Karma crossed his arms, dismissing the other possible culprits. "The League of Villains isn't organized enough to pull something like this off, not with that level of infiltration. This feels more personal—Takaoka reaching out to someone who already hated the ministry or had their own agenda."
Maehara groaned, running a hand through his hair. "Great, so we've got a traitor in the ministry helping a psychopath. That's comforting."
