"Hey, Karasuma," Irina said, speaking into her phone. "How's the investigation going?" She asked, in Russian. She couldn't risk anyone listening into her conversation, and thankfully, Karasuma picked up on it,
"It's... progressing," Karasuma replied with a sigh. "I'm having Ritsu work overtime to dig up any information linking Takaoka to the League of Villains."
"Wait, Ritsu can track the League? Why haven't they been arrested yet?" Irina asked, her surprise evident.
"You know how the heroes are. They love the spotlight—they can't stand it when the ministry does their job better, and without all the theatrics."
"Right... well, I'm here keeping an eye on the kids," Irina paused, her expression turning serious. "But that principal is getting suspicious of me. I need to lay low."
"You? Laying low? Now that's a new development," Karasuma chuckled.
Irina rolled her eyes. "I didn't know you had a sense of humor," she retorted. "Anyway, I need to get back to 'work.'"
She hung up the phone and sank back onto the couch in the teacher's lounge. This was nice—relaxing, enjoying the perks of being a UA teacher, and not having to deal with lesson plans...
Suddenly, she sat up straight.
"Ritsu's busy, so she can't handle my lesson plan!"
She buried her face in her hands. "I hate this stupid job!"

Irina quickly straightened up, putting on her best teacher smile. "Oh, you know, just the usual stress of planning lessons and dealing with students," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "How about you? How's everything in your world?"
Nemuri leaned against the doorframe, her playful demeanor shining through. "Just finished a fun class with 1-B! They're such a handful, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. You should see how much energy they have!" She laughed, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. "And you? You seem a bit... overwhelmed."
Irina sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Um... Just busy. I had an... event this weekend, so I'm pretty sure I'm behind on lesson plans." She attempted to mask her frustration, but it seeped through just a little.
Nemuri tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. "Oh? Is that all? I thought you were doing great! You've only been here a short while, but the students already love you."
"Yeah, well, that doesn't mean it's easy," Irina replied, forcing a smile. "It's hard to be the new teacher trying to fit in and keep the kids engaged, you know?" She said, though she internally cringed at how fake she sounded
