Izumi could say that she didn't expect him to close the distance but the truth was that he gave her more than a chance to push him away.
But who in their right mind could deny a man like him?
Well, maybe once upon a time she could believe she would, but after getting to know him and maybe even developing some feelings for this crazy idiot, maybe it would be impossible to push him away.
The kiss was gentle and sweet, his hands not exploring any further than her cheek and waist where he had placed them just before closing the distance.
Even so, such a simple gesture seemed more than enough to bring her whole body into overdrive. She just couldn't help but moan against his lips, enjoying the feelings he had brought her too much.
She was so utterly consumed by the exchange that when he finally pulled away a few seconds later, she whined in complaint, making him chuckle.
The hand resting on her cheek caressed it softly while his eyes looked at her with a look that she couldn't recognize.
"Izumi..."
Even the way he called out her name seemed different after that kiss. She could feel everything change when they hadn't even spoken about it.
She smiled and looked him straight in the eye for the first time on that night.
"This wasn't what I expected when I came here" Izumi couldn't help but joke.
"Believe me, I didn't plan it either" he admitted. All of his words seemed to be a bit hesitant and she eventually understood why when he spoke again. "If I wasn't a distraction before..."
"That isn't true." she answered with all the determination in the world.
"You said it yourself, Izumi."
"You know why I said it?"
"No."
"Because every time we're on the same ice and I can feel your eyes on me, I just keep thinking of something like this moment and my brain just keeps telling me that there's no way that someone like you would even look at me in a way that makes this possible."
He seemed completely taken aback by her admission. She had said it countless times, how he was this God of skating, some kind of superior entity. Despite how many times he told her he was just a man, it seemed like she just couldn't believe it fully.
"Do I have to say it again?"
Izumi chuckled.
"I know you're just a man, and you just proved that to me. Yet, even when you kiss me, it's unlike anything I felt before."
"Izumi..."
"No Yuzu, I'm not blind. I'm fully aware of how many eyes are constantly on you. No matter how much I want this, no matter how much I want to see and get to know more of you, I know deep down that you're not like anyone else I've met before."
It was the first time she called him by the shortened version of his name and somehow, that only seemed to encourage him further. Yuzuru shut her up by kissing her again, ignoring all of her previous words.
His hands were now more insistent, fingertips trailing on her torso as he tried to elicit some kind of reaction that showed him that he wasn't the only one affected by what was happening in that hotel room.
It wasn't even hard. Just seconds later, she was moaning against his lips again, only encouraging him to go further and further.
Truthfully, Yuzuru just wanted to let go, to enjoy this with her and have anything that the girl was willing.
He didn't want to force her to do anything in any way, but given how compliant she seemed, it was hard to refuse his body's wishes to take her apart and show that vulnerable side that he knew she had hidden.
Her back reached the closest wall and Yuzu never parted from her, lips always touching her skin as his hands explored as much as they could. The touch on her waist got more insistent, hands gradually moving upwards, giving her the time to once again pull away before he touched her any further.
But Izumi could never push him away.
She enjoyed every single bit of his touch, her brain almost hazy from all the feelings consuming her.
Once his lips touched her neck and traced the exposed skin, the moan she let out was probably louder than it should have been given where they were.
Unlike she expected, instead of telling her to tone it down, Yuzuru gave her the most gorgeous of smirks, clearly satisfied with the sounds he was taking out of her.
"You're the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen." he said with a serious expression as his eyes roamed through her. "I have never wanted someone like I want you."
Yuzuru was completely gone, all logic disappeared as soon as he realized that whatever was going on wasn't one-sided. The events of that night only seemed to encourage him further.
Izumi knew she should've pulled away right then and been the voice of reason. He might be the oldest but it was very clear that he wasn't really thinking straight at that moment.
The destiny of that night seemed written in stone as she looked at him once again and saw that almost desperate expression completely filling his face.
This was a Yuzuru Hanyu that very few people have seen and she was one of the lucky ones.
So despite the voice of reason echoing in her head, Izumi said the words that her body and heart seemed to beg her to utter.
"Then have me."
