today was the day

i got dressed and made sure i smelled good befofr running down the stairs to grab my car keys and go to get her

Maddie opened the door with a soft smile

she said softly she looked a tad restless but i suppose she may of just woke up early

i nod and sit beside maddie who looks at her dad

"kalani i see you disobeyed my wishes of staying away from my daughter"

"you are to have my daughter home by 8, no alcoholic beverages, no smoking, no fast driving. she is a vegetarian and i would like to make sure that everything she eats is under 2gramd of sugar. i don't want an obese child. understand?"
