After that night
I don't remember much about the following day

All I remember is calling kalani

And having her tell me to "go away"

I wasn't punished for calling her

"AUNTIE MADDIE! Up?"
I laugh as he fast little legs leaped into my arms

We sat in silence as a movie played about a princess and a prince
And how the prince saved the princess

I haven't talked to Maddie in days
A week and some more days

Why?

Her dad said I wasn't welcome
That she went manic because she couldn't see me
That she threw herself against the wall and tried to harm him aswell

He offered my mom money for her to put me in a hospital

But she refused it

Then Kenzie came in

"Can I sit?"

"Leave"

She sighs

"Please?"

"What do you want?"

"To sit with my sister who hasn't left her room except to pee and grab water bottles"

I sigh deeply
"Fucking sit"

She sits across from me

"Thank you"
I nod

We sat for a while before she spoke

"You loved her?"

I don't reply I just continue to draw

"You were starting to calm down..when I said her name you lit up with happiness"

I snao at her

"Well apparently she didn't feel the same. Apparently I made her crazy and she wants nothing to do with me! maybe it was my fault she hurt herself. But then agian maybe it was that room she's confined too and those strict ass rules she has to abide by! MAYBE ITS HER OWN FAUlt...or shit. Maybe it's her dads!"

She hugged me

And for the first time in a while

I hugged her back

"I love you"

I sigh

"I know you do...and I don't deserve the fact that you do"

I hug her back tighter
