I know I really shouldn't be feeling this was but as soon as Dallas put his arm around me all my nerves and anxieties about intruding just disappeared. The way that I fit into his side and under his arm was perfect, almost as if I was meant to be there.

These really weren't thoughts I should be having about my dad's star player. But I couldn't bring myself to stop.

"You're Evie right?" A soft feminine voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked over to the girl who was sitting on Monz's lap.

She was one of the prettiest girls I had ever seen. She had beautiful olive skin that didn't seem to have any blemishes, her dark hair was thrown up into a bun on the top of her head but still looked like every hair had been placed there on purpose.

I think I just fell in love. Well that's another girl to add to my fantasy wife list.

"Yeah I am, it's nice to meet you" I paused at the end of my sentence realising that I didn't know the girl's name.

"Raia" She filled in with a small giggle.

"That's such a pretty name, I have to say as well you are quite literally one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen" I grinned at her as her tanned cheeks began to flush.

"Stop flirting with my girl Evie" Monz calls out with a mock glare on his face.

"Can't help myself sorry Monz" I wink at Raia who leans into her boyfriend with a smile on her lips.

"Luca says that you're the new socials person for the team"

"Well that was an added job for me, I'm actually this one's babysitter" I grinned at Dallas and leaned more into him. He doesn't acknowledge me but instead just ruffles my hair before shoving my head away from him slightly.

Raia and the other guys chuckle like they always do whenever someone mentions that Dallas has a babysitter.

"I've always been good with social media so my dad kind of just asked me to help build the team's social reputation back up. Now I'm in charge of events and running the socials" I explain.

Saying it outloud made me realise how much I actually do, there must be people out there that were far more qualified at this than I was but I tried really hard and was learning as I went.

"Is that something you've always been interested in doing?" Raia asks and I think for a second.

"Well when I was younger I had a career set out for me but something took a turn and that got taken away from me. After that I've kind of just been floating around not really knowing what I wanted to do with my life. This came at a really good time for me and I love what I do so no complaints from me" I realised that I had been rambling and a blush appeared on my face.

I pretend not to notice as Dallas wraps his arm tighter around me almost as if he knows talking about my past was difficult for me.

"What do you do?" I quickly changed the subject away from me before anyone could ask me any more questions.
