My nerves were going haywire as I paced around my room waiting for 3pm to arrive. I had tried on one hundred different outfits trying to find the right one for my date with Dallas. I didn't know what we were doing and the only instruction was that he wanted me to dress warm.

"You're going to wear the carpet out sweet" My Ma appeared at the door and had a small smile on her face.

"Sorry just getting my steps in" I cringe at my response but just turn away from my mum so she can't see my face.

"Okay weirdo, have fun with Dallas" She winks at me.

I spin around on my heel to gawk at her but by the time I had moved she had walked away. Looking at my phone, I realise I only had a few minutes before Dallas arrived. Checking my outfit again I give myself a soft nod liking the way I looked.

Rushing down the stairs I was happy to see that my parents were in the living room so I could avoid them. Hauling my handbag up my shoulder I slowly opened the door only to crash into a chest as I walked out.

"Hey there angel" Dallas' hands gripped my waist and pulled my body further into his.

"Hiya Dal" I smiled up at him with a blush on my cheeks.

"Here I am trying to be a gentleman and come pick you up at the door but you're sneaking out of the house" He raises an eyebrow at me and I can't help but giggle.

"You really want my dad to see you?" I ask, grinning at him as he lets out a shiver.

"Maybe it's for the best. Come on sweetheart" He takes my hand in his and pulls me towards his tuck.

After he opened the door I climbed in and buckled myself up as I watched him round the truck. He looked mouthwatering, I thought I was used to Dallas by now but he still seemed to take my breath away.

"Where are we going?" I bounce slightly in my seat as I look over to him when he starts up the engine.

"It's a surprise" He winked at me and I let out a huff crossing my arms across my chest. I had never been good with surprises, when I was a child it was because I was too excited to wait, as I got older and my anxiety grew I hated them because the unknown stressed me out.

"Do you trust me?" He reached over the centre console and laced his finger with mine.

"Of course" There was no hesitation in my answer. He had never given me a reason not to trust him.

"Then I know you're going to love it"

The drive was filled with me aimlessly rambling until we got to our destination. Dallas wasn't exactly chatty back but he chimed in at the right times showing me that he was listening to what I was saying.

We had driven slightly out of the city and because of the winter the sun was slowly beginning to set even in the early afternoon.

A gasp left my lips when Dallas parked the truck and I looked at what was in front of me.
