CHAPTER 10

When Joanna arrived at her destination where Katrina was waiting Michael grabbed her hand and gave her a quick kiss.

"Ingat sa pag-uwi, hon." Paalam ng dalaga.

"Ingat ka din, hon!"

After they bid goodbye to each other she looks to find Katrina.

"Kanina ka pa?" Joanna asked.

"Hindi naman, halos kakadating ko din. Nag-CR lang saglit si Amber Luna - oh! Andito na pala siya. Arats na."

Sumakay na ang tatlo sa mini bus papunta sa bahay ng kaibigan nilang si Fireine - Fireine Aphrodite Yoshida.

"HALLOOOW!! Happy Birthday!" bati ng dalaga sa kaibigang si Fireine pagkapasok nila sa loob ng bahay.

"Hello, Bae! Happiest Beerday." Katrina greeted and Amber did the same thing. They even greeted her parents.

"Thank you! Sakto lang dating niyo kakasimula lang nila kumain."

"Wait nasan si Ana May?" Tanong ni Fireine nang mapansin na hindi nila kasama ang isa pa nilang kaibigan.

"Hayaan mo na siya. Minsan lang magparamdam yun." Sagot ni Joanna. "Inaaya siya di siya sasama may mga reasons siya."

"Oh! Hayaan mo na nga garud. Kain na kayo."

"Picture muna tayo." Joanna said. After they took pictures they started to eat and murmurs chismis together.

"Ikaw Amber, diba balak mo mqg unit earner after mong maka-graduate?" Fireine asked.

"Yep. Mag-Board muna ako bago mag take ng unit sa business course or yung dream course ko talaga."

"Same here, balak ko din mag take ng units pero matagal pa kasi irreg ako." Joanna said.

"Ako tinatamad na akong mag-aral. Pero bet ko maging doktor." Sagot naman ni Katrina.

"Ako kasi isang sem nalang graduation na, hindi din ako makakahabol sa board exam if ever kaya after graduation mag eenroll muna ako sa TESDA bago mag-enroll sa review center habang hindi pa nagstart ang review session, sayang din kasi kung tambay ka lang sa bahay niyo, masakit sa likod nakahiga maghapon." Amber thoughts.

Amber will graduate on time while Joanna will wait another year to graduate, she transferred school from University to Local Colleges in her municipality in Paniqui due to COVID-19 and some of her subjects didn't match to her previous school that's explain she's irreg students taking only what's the open of subject availability while Katrina took a HRS Course after she graduated Senior High School because they are lack of financial aid before now after 2 years in HRS she immediately got a work as a Asst. Secretary of a Department Store in their municipality, She's 2 years working from now and Fireine is taking a X-ray Technologist and will take Radiology after.

"Go lang tayo para sa pangarap." Joanna cheers up. "By the way maiba ako, sino na naman yang lalake mo gaga ka!" Joanna intrigued Fireine.

"Hoy! Friends lang yun." Natatawang sagot ni Fireine.

"Pero diko bet 4 inches lang, isang bato ko lang tapos litaw ang ulo." She demoed with her close fist hand and thumbs up. "Ganito lang kalaki, baka di ka pa labasan dun. Pogi lang pero 4."

Bigla namang naubo kunware si Amber sa turan nito. "Agree, hindi lahat ng pogi daks, feeling pogi lang yung iba."

"True, na try ko yung kaklase kong Nigerian before, tatlong bato ko bae diko kinaya, paano kaya kapag pinasok sa loob warak na."

Napailing nalang si Joanna sa sinabi ni Fireine. Proud ka pa nyan.

This kind of convos is nothing new to them and Katrina is slightly innocent, unaware of some terms they're talking about - virgin of all virgins.
