His One & Only

A heck of a ride

Samarth's Pov

I hurriedly made my way through the halls, carrying boxes, suitcases, and all other manner of belongings. It had been a long journey from home, but finally I have arrived I'm here. My new home, my new life, away from anyone and anything I has previously known, was now at my doorstep. I entered my dorm room and began unpacking my things, ready for the new adventures that awaited me.

I looked around the room and noticed that the walls are painted with white, with small flecks of silver for detail. The furniture is made of rich hardwood, with intricate carvings and embellishments. A desk with a chair is in one corner, and a small bed with a wooden frame is in the other.The windows that dot the walls let in lots of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

There are two single beds in two sides of the room and there is another luggage which means that my roommate is already here.

Afterwards I began unpacking my belongings. I organized my clothes into drawers and hung up the jackets and shirts in the closet. The bedding and pillows were next, which I carefully arranged on the bed until I was satisfied with the look. I placed my guitar at a corner of the room in my side.

Everything had its place and I was proud of how my new room looked. For now, there was nothing left to do except explore my new space.

I actually wanted to explore the city to know that how ''dil walo ki dilli" actually is but I'll leave that for other day exploring the campus is enough for today.

Before leaving my room I thought of calling my mom to let her know that I have arrived safe and sound. My mom picked up at the first ring which I consider to be miracle personally.

"Hello mom" I said

"Haa beta, what are you doing, are you in your room right now?" She asked in one breath

"Yes maa I am in my room. Don't worry
I was thinking of looking around the campus" I replied

"Yes you should definitely do that"

"Wait shagun wants to talk to you"

"Hiiii bhaiya" shagun practically yelled through the phone

"Hi little demon. What's going on?"

"Nothing. What about you. Do you like your college what about your room. Did you make any friends?"

"Yes I like my room and no I did not make any new friends because I arrived here 2 hours ago"

"But please make a lot of friends and do not make a new mortal enemy there. No one will listen to your ranting there" Shagun said

"I never made any mortal enemy and I will never do so I am a very friendly person who is nice to everyone" I defended myself

"Seriously then what about that guy huh?"

"He is not my mortal enemy he is just annoying and I never ranted about him to any body"

"Don't get me started with this you literally talked about him everyday. He was the only topic that helped me to have a conversation with you for hours"

"Okay now stop I don't want to ruin my mood talking about him. I am hanging up I need to eat something I am starving"

"Okay bye love you bhai"

"Bye little demon" I hung up the call.

When I think about it my life is going to be easy and unproblematic in this college. I will never see that asshole again nor have compete with him in everything. After so many years I am finally free. And also I will finally get myself a girlfriend for the first time I will go on dates with pretty girls and probably have my first kiss. It's gonna be fun and it's gonna be a heck of a ride.

Author's note - first chapter is here I just hope I didn't ruin this one and I will try to update regularly . First chapter may get boring but I will try to be better.
