Samarth's POV
Tomorrow is our music event and it's like a hellhole in the practice room. We've been practicing the whole day and the seniors are still not satisfied. It's almost evening now and I have promised Jhil that I will take her out for dinner.
I am going to ask her to be my girlfriend today.
I will finally have my first girlfriend.
I hope our practice session ends soon I don't want to make her wait.
After practicing for 2 and half hours more we finally stopped.
"Okay guys, I think that's enough for today let's wrap it up" one of our senior said
Finally thank god.
Anshuman and I came back to our room and I was getting ready to go out when he came out of the shower.
"You're going somewhere?" He asks
"Yeah I am going out for a bit"
"I wanted to ask you something"
"What?"
"You know there is a meteor shower tonight so I wanted to ask you if we could watch it together"
"Actually, I-I have dinner plans with Jhil and maybe we will go to a club afterwards"
He doesn't reply anything and just stares at me blankly.
"But I can come back soon" I added
He grinned at my answer
"Yeah you can have your dinner date and come back before 2.30 am"
"I will"
"Promise me"
"Promise you what?"
"That you'll come back to me"
"I promise I'll come back, just wait for me at the terrace okay"
He nods at my answer
"What are you going to wear?" He asks
"I can't figure out"
"Let me help you"
He picked a beige knitted polo shirt with blue jeans.
"You'll look good in these she'll love it" he says
"Do you like it?" I ask him
"Ofcourse I do"
I got ready and texted Jhil to meet me near the restaurent which she picked. As I was about to go out Anshuman called me.
"Schoolboy" his voice gloomy
"Hmm"
"Tu aayega na"
(You'll come right)
"Jaldi wapas aaunga, pakka wala promise"
(I'll be back soon, I promise)
When I reached the restaurent I saw Jhil waiting for me outside. She was wearing a blue bodycon dress. The same colour that Anshuman was wearing at our sleepover. She looks pretty but this colour suits Anshuman more.
"You're late, mister" she says pointing at me
"Sorry, I'll make it up to you"
"Let's go inside, I am starving"
