Chapter 33: Happy moments

I woke up to Leo holding me close to himself. He held me like he didn't want to let go and it felt nice.

I tried to get up, but his grip tightened. I finally freed myself and was about to get off the bed when he talked.

"What's wrong?" He said in a sexy sleepy voice and I turned to him.

"Uh...nothing "

"Then let's sleep some more"

"Aren't you going to work today?" He let out a light groan.

"No, now get back here" he said as he opened his arms and I went in to hug him.
" this feels great" he said and kissed my forehead.

That'll take some getting used to, but it didn't stop the huge grin that appeared on my face

One week later

Leo has been the nicest I've seen. I mean better than before and today, we decided to go see his mother.
I was busy getting ready and singing my favourite songs....

And........he's back

I made a loud gasp and starred at him through the mirror. He had a smirk on his face.

"I'm mad" I said, still looking at him. I said I was mad, but I was busy smiling like an id!ot.

He came over and kissed my cheek. You could say I forgave him.

"Hurry up and meet me in the car" he said while looking at me through the mirror.

"And if I don't"

"We'll see" he whispered seductively in my ear, giving me chills, before he left.
I shot myself in the back there.

I got ready and took a little longer hoping he would come back. I guess this isn't long enough for him.

Then I got a text from him

'Don't test me Mira. If I come up there,we're not leaving this house any time soon'

It scared me and made me curious at the same time. I decided to go to him though.

Leo rang the doorbell and soon enough, his mum answered it.

We pushed leo aside and hugged each other. She didn't know we would be here.

"Mira!"
"Mom!" We said at the same time.

"I missed you so much"

"Me too" I said as I broke the hug"

" come we have a lot to talk about. I'll call bri. She hasn't seen you in a while either" she seems so excited and I love it. I feel loved.

This is what it feels like to be loved.

"Mira!" Bri shouted as she came in. She pushed Leo aside and sprinted towards me.
"Sam told me you weren't feeling good. Are you okay now??"

"Couldn't be better" I said, looking at Leo who had a smile on his face.

He noticed me staring and cleared his throat as he walked towards us.

"No love for leo huh?" He said and we all laughed.

It's moments like this I wish could last forever.

"Any news?" She asked.

"No ma'am"

" what about Tara?"

"She was apparently promoted ma'am " he said sarcastically.

"She's not in the country, so we can't use her as bait"

" who?" The woman asked.

"It was Leo ma'am, probably to keep Tara safe" the man paused for a while
" but mira doesn't know about him doing it " a smirk immediately formed on her face.

"Who said she can't be used as bait then?"

Arrrrgggghh. Who is this mysterious person? I guess we'll find out.
