Mira's pov

I left Leo and Sam to talk, already knowing what their conversation would be about. Probably the letters. I wouldn't say I'm nosy and all, but it didn't take much for me to figure out.

Also, I received another one.
'I know you're wondering where your friend is. Let's meet and discuss a few things. Also, be cautious around your little husband. Might have some ulterior motives.
❤️, R.D

It had an address on the back of the envelope
As always, I was confused when I first read the letter, but I figured the only reason they would have put an address on the letter was because whoever this is wants something from me.

Of all the letters I've received, this seems the most threatening. I know nothing's wrong with Tara. Leo's got her.
I contemplated telling Leo about this, but decided against it. He'd probably keep me from going.

I quickly got ready, and went to Leo to inform him I would be out. He seemed worried, but I assured him I would be back in no time. I'm still surprised he didn't come after me or anything.

I got to where I needed to be for now, and I was awestruck. This house looks amazing.
It didn't cost me much to find her house address online. Apparently she's some famous person. How come I'd never heard of her before I met Leo?

I got to the front door and rang the bell. I patiently waited for someone to open the door hoping it won't be her.
I almost gave up and left, when I heard the swing off the door and was greeted with a frowning face looking at me.

"Well if it isn't 'Mrs Argent'"she placed more emphasis on Mrs Argent.

"Hi, this may sound and look weird, but"-

"Trust me it does. What are you doing here?" She interrupted

"Well, if you would let me finish. I need your help" I said, earning a hideous laugh to escape her mouth.

"You're kidding right?"I kept a straight face showing how serious I was.

"I don't have time for jokes 'Lisa'" I said

"Fine I'll help. Only because I know Leo's involved. What is it?"

****
"So you want to know what those letters are about?" She looked annoyed "that's why you came all the way here?"

"Precisely"

"Well, you're in no luck of finding anything important. The only thing Leo told me about the letters was that he started receiving them when his father died"

"Really, nothing else?"

"If there was, I would tell you" something about that statement feels weird.

"Okay, well I have to go home now" I said, getting up.

"You're not going to see her?" I didn't tell her about that.

"How did you know about that?" I gave her a suspicious look.

"How else? You said it. Maybe it was subconsciously" she said, raising her shoulders.

I chose not to push it. It wouldn't end in her admitting if she heard it or not from me.
I left with one thing being played repeatedly in my mind.
"I definitely didn't tell her about meeting her"
