Tw, blood mentions, hurricane.

Living in Florida definitely had its perks, they lived near enough to the sea, it was hot and sunny most of the time, they lived close to all their friends it was great except for one thing.

Every august to November or 'hurricane season' was always filled with an anxiety that something could happen, thankfully there hasn't been a tremendously bad hurricane yet since they lived there, but there was always a chance.

Sapnap was on the couch flicking through channels to find something interesting.

He stopped when it got to the news,

"Deviating hurricane to pass through Orlando this evening" sapnaps eyes widened.

Karl went out shopping about an hour ago, he hoped he would be home soon enough.

"Babe!" He shouted, quackity soon came running in from the kitchen.

"Are you ok, what's going on" he asked quickly sapnap pointed to the screen. "Oh mi amor" he mumbled thinking about Karl.

"I'll ring him" Sapnap said pulling out his phone ringing his partner.

"Hello?" Karl answered.

"Karl! Karl, you need to get home now there's a hurricane coming soon" sapnap said. "Fuck, ok I'll be home in an hour" Karl said.

"Please hurry Karl" sapnap said before hanging up. He looked outside and the weather was already raining heavily and extremely windy the trees blowing around.

"Sap?" Quackity mumbled to get his attention.

"Are we going to be ok?" He asked. "I'm not sure baby" sapnap said. Putting his hands on quackity's hips looking into his eyes.

"Come on let's go into the bathroom it's in the middle of the house, it's safest" sapnap said getting some water bottles and food from the kitchen not sure how long the storm will last for.

Quackity had gone to their bedroom pulling the mattress into the bathroom to put it over the window.

He brought in blankets and pillows as well and made sure there was a first aid kit under the sink.

Sapnap came in after, "oh good thinking" sapnap said putting the supplies on the floor.

Sapnap pulled quackity onto his lap so they were close, quackity cuddled into his shoulder, sapnap gently running a hand through his hair he could already feel quackity shaking a little on his lap.

"We'll be ok" sapnap said calmly. "I'm worried about Karl" quackity said sniffling to stop himself from crying.

"He's driving home by himself in a hurricane" quackity said.

"I know I know but he's smart he knows what to do he'll be ok" sapnap replied letting quackity snuggle into him further..

Around an hour later they could now here the wind blowing harshly against the house as well as the pounding rain. They became scared as Karl still wasn't home yet.

Eventually they heard the door open, the rain getting louder for a split second before a loud shutting noise.

A few seconds later a limping Karl came into the bathroom soaking wet, shivering and whimpering.

"Karl!" They both said quackity standing up quickly to greet him holding his tightly which Karl let out a cry, quackity let go supporting him.

"Oh baby you're hurt" he said noticing how Karl was standing and that his jeans were ripped and he seemed to have a large graze on his knee.
