You laid on the couch, your eyes closed in a desperate attempt to try to fall asleep. But no matter how hard you tried, sleep never came.

At first, the family room couch seemed like a comfortable enough place to rest yourself. You would've thought the soft cushions and warm blanket should have been enough to put you to sleep.

But as the hours ticked by, the discomfort grew more and more noticeable. The cushions that seemed plush and inviting when you first laid down, now felt lumpy and uneven against your back. The blanket that was supposed to keep you warm now felt suffocating, adding to your growing sense of discomfort.

You shifted your weight to your side, trying to find a more comfortable position. But no matter how you laid, the couch refused to cooperate.

You sighed, opening your eyes and gazing up at the ceiling. You wished you had your bed, the soft, fluffy comforter that laid across the mattress, with the white sheets perfectly flat against it. Pillows of different shapes and sizes scattered all over.

All that was gone and you were left with the most uncomfortable couch of all time. You closed your eyes again, trying to focus on your breathing. In and out, in and out. But your mind refused to quiet down, a never-ending stream of thoughts running through your head that had no reason to be in there.

Suddenly, the room was filled with a loud buzzing sound as the phone lit up with a new message. It was an unusual hour for anyone to be sending a message.

Your curiosity got the best of you as you reached onto the ground for the phone, you stretched half of your body onto the floor, not wanting to get up. After a few seconds of work you reached it and unlocked it.

The screen illuminated and as an immediate response, you squinted your eyes as you adjusted to the sudden brightness. You tapped on your phone for a few moments, now revealing a message from an unknown number.

Your heart skipped a beat as you nervously tapped on the notification.

The message read, 'you need help for important reasons I cannot say on digital, whenever possible meet at this location.' Just then another message popped up, this time coordinates. You stared wide eyed, wanting to press on the link of it but being skeptical, you don't.

There was no name, no context, just a cryptic message and some coordinates. Your mind raced with questions and possible scenarios, but something about the message felt off.

Was it a prank? A trap? Or a person who could help? Despite the time and the uncertainty, you couldn't ignore this message.

You jumped off of the couch, it cried out a squeak when you did as if it already missed torturing you. You had to show Bakugo this, even if it was midnight.

You walked out of the family room, your footsteps echoing against the walls of the hallway. You watched your surroundings, the house was so still, it didn't help with the uneasiness you already felt.

The feeling worsened your senses of unease, it felt like you were being watched. You shook off the feeling and continued on your walk, tightening your hold on the phone.

Passing by the kitchen, you noticed the shadows dancing on the walls from the moonlight filtering through the curtains. The furniture seemed to take on a different form in the darkness, the familiar shapes now appearing distorted and unfamiliar.

You kept your destination to the living room, the wooden floor creaking with every step. It felt as if it became more quiet and still, the only sound echoing through the darkness was the soft breathing of Bakugo lying on the couch.

His chest rose and fell rhythmically, a peaceful expression on his face as he slept. You couldn't help but stare at him, mesmerized by his features even in the dimly lit room.
