Abigail woke up with a start, her heart racing and her cheeks wet with tears. She sat up in bed, trying to catch her breath, as she wiped away the remnants of her dream. It had felt so real, so vivid, like she was reliving a memory from her childhood.

She shook her head, trying to clear her mind. But the images were still fresh in her mind. She had dreamt of being a kid again, of the time when her parents had left for their trip on a flight. She remembered the excitement she had felt, the butterflies in her stomach, as she waved goodbye to them at the airport.

But in her dream, her parents' flight had crashed. She could still hear the sounds of screams and chaos, as she desperately searched for her parents in the wreckage. But they were nowhere to be found. She had felt a deep sense of loss and grief, as she realized that her parents didn't survive the crash.

Abigail's breath hitched as she remembered the pain she had felt in her dream. She had woken up in tears, her heart aching for the parents she had lost. Even though she was almost an adult, the loss still felt raw and real. She missed her parents every single day, and her dream had only brought back the memories and emotions that she had been trying so hard to suppress.

With a sigh, Abigail got out of bed and made her way to the kitchen. She needed a cup of tea to calm her nerves and ease her mind. As she sipped her tea, she couldn't help but think about her parents. They had been the most loving and caring parents she could have asked for. They had always supported her dreams and encouraged her to chase after them.

But now, they were gone, and Abigail was left to navigate life without them. It had been a difficult journey, but she had finally found a sense of peace and acceptance. She knew that her parents were watching over her, and that they would want her to live her life to the fullest.

However, her dream had brought back a flood of emotions that she thought she had buried deep inside her. She realized that she hadn't fully processed her parents' death, and that it was okay to still grieve for them.

Abigail didn't even notice Emma walk into the kitchen she was so lost in her thought.

'Hey baby, are you okay?' Emma asked.

'Yea I'm okay just had a dream about my parents' Abigail said without looking up.

'Is there anything I can do?' Emma asked.

'No, I'm okay, I think I am going to go and visit them it has been a while' Abigail said sipping her tea.

'Do you need me to go with you love?' Emma asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Would you?" Abigail asked with a sad look on her face.

Without hesitation Emma wrapped her arms around Abigail. 'Of course, I will, and I will stay in the car so you can have some time to yourself.'

'Thank you baby' Abigail said.

As she finished her tea, Abigail made a decision. She would visit her parents' grave and let herself feel the pain and sorrow that she had been pushing away. She needed closure, and she knew that she would only find it by facing her emotions head on.

With a determined look on her face, Abigail got dressed and they drove to the cemetery. As she stood in front of her parents' grave, she let the tears fall freely as she poured her heart out. She talked to them, telling them about her dreams and how much she missed them.

As she walked away from the grave, Abigail felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that her parents would always be a part of her, and that their love would never leave her. She smiled, knowing that she would always cherish the memories of her childhood, even the painful ones. And she would carry her parents' love with her, no matter where life took her.
