After exploring Disneyland during the day, Emma decided to take a nap before getting ready for their dinner.
When she woke up, she found a handwritten note from Abigail next to her. It read, 'Get dressed and meet me on the rooftop at 8 pm. Trust me, you don't want to miss this.' Emma smiled, wondering what Abigail had planned for their evening.
Emma immediately got up from the bed, feeling intrigued and excited about what Abigail had planned for their evening. She quickly got dressed in a beautiful floral dress and put on some light makeup to enhance her natural beauty. As she made her way downstairs, she could feel her heart beating with anticipation.
When she reached the lobby, she saw Abigail standing there, looking stunning in a black dress. Abigail's face lit up when she saw Emma, and she couldn't help but admire her beauty. She took Emma's hand and led her outside to a waiting limousine. Emma's eyes widened in surprise, wondering where they were going.
They arrived at a beautiful rooftop restaurant, and as they entered, Emma saw that it was just the two of them. The rooftop had a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, and it was decorated with fairy lights, giving it a romantic atmosphere. Emma couldn't believe how perfect everything was, and she couldn't wait to see what Abigail had planned.
Abigail smiled and took Emma's hand, leading her to a private corner of the bar. There, they were met with a breathtaking view of the city.
As they sat down, a waiter brought them a bottle of their favorite champagne. Abigail held up her glass and said, 'To us, my love. Cheers to adventure, love, and growth.'
Emma clinked her glass against Abigail's and said, 'Cheers to many more years of love and happiness.'
Abigail took Emma's hands in hers and looked into her eyes with so much love and affection. 'Emma, I have something important to talk to you about,' Abigail said, her voice filled with seriousness. Emma's heart dropped, wondering what it could be.
At this moment Abigail knew it was time to reveal her big surprise. She placed a small box on the table and nervously asked Emma to open it. Inside was a key with a heart-shaped keychain.
'Emma, I just want you to know how much I love you. You are my everything, and I can't imagine my life without you.' she said, tears welling up in her eyes.
Emma's face lit up with joy and she pulled Abigail into a hug, whispering 'I love you too' in her ear.
Abigail took Emma's hand and looked into her eyes, 'I have something important to ask you.'
'Emma, I love you more than words can express, Will you move with me to New York after I graduate?' Abigail asked, her heart racing as she waited for Emma's response.
Emma was taken by surprise and didn't know what to say. Abigail's words filled her with happiness and fear. She loved Abigail, and the thought of starting a new life with her in New York was tempting, but she was also afraid of leaving her home and her career behind.
'Before you respond, hear me out, I know you just started at the school, and you love your job, but they have a position coming open at Columbia for a music professor. If you don't want to teach, I know that you have always wanted to pursue a career in music. Everything will be taken care of, and you won't have to worry about anything. Whatever you need or want will be taken care of. All I need you to say is yes' Abigail said out of breath.
'I know it's a big decision, but I can't imagine living in New York without you. We could start a new life together, the key in your hand is your key to the penthouse my aunt brought me' Abigail explained.
For a moment, Emma was speechless. She couldn't believe that Abigail had planned this whole evening just to ask her to move with her. With tears in her eyes, she nodded and pulled Abigail into a tight hug.
'I would love to move to New York with you, Abigail. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us,' Emma said, her heart filled with love and excitement. Abigail's face lit up with joy and relief.
As they made their way back to the hotel, Emma was still in disbelief. She couldn't believe that their love story was taking them to New York, a city filled with endless possibilities. As they snuggled in bed, Abigail promised to take care of all the arrangements for their move and kissed Emma.
Their time in Paris had been nothing short of magical. From strolling down the quaint streets, hand in hand, to exploring the city's famous landmarks, every moment spent together had felt like a dream. But now, as they sat in their hotel suite on their last night in Paris, reality was starting to sink in. Emma couldn't help but feel a sense of dread as she looked around the beautiful room, knowing that they would soon have to leave this perfect bubble they had created.
Emma's heart sank at the thought of leaving this beautiful city and going back to their reality of hiding their relationship. Emma hated having to hide her love for Abigail, but she was also grateful for moments like this, where they could be themselves and not care about what the world thought.
As they finished their dinner, Emma could sense the worry in Abigail's eyes. She knew her girlfriend too well, and she could tell that Abigail was dreading the idea of going back home. Emma's heart broke at the thought of leaving Paris and going back to their reality of hiding their relationship. But she also knew that this trip meant the world to Abigail, and she wanted to make their last night in Paris special.
'Abby,' Emma said, 'let's make our last night in Paris memorable. There's something I want to show you.'
Emma got up from her seat and walked towards the room, motioning for Abigail to follow her.
Confused, Abigail got up and followed her, wondering what Emma was up to. When she entered the room, her eyes widened in surprise. Emma had decorated the entire suite with fairy lights and rose petals. The room was filled with the sweet smell of chocolate, and Abigail couldn't help but smile at the sight.
As Abigail took in the sight, Emma couldn't help but feel nervous. She had put a lot of effort into making this night special for Abigail, and she hoped it would make her forget about their worries for a little while.
'Emma, what is all this?' Abigail asked, her voice filled with wonder.
'I wanted to make our last night in Paris special,' Emma replied with a grin.
Abigail's heart swelled with love for the woman in front of her. She couldn't believe that Emma had gone through all this trouble just to make her happy. They both sat on the bed, surrounded by the cozy atmosphere, and Abigail couldn't stop smiling. She looked at Emma, who was looking at her with so much love and adoration.
As they dug into their chocolate cake, Abigail couldn't help but reminisce about the past few days they had spent in Paris. It had been a whirlwind of emotions, from laughter and joy to tears.
'Abby, I know we have to go back home tomorrow, and I don't want to think about it. But I also want you to know that no matter what happens, I love you and I will always be here for you,' Emma said, her voice laced with emotion.
She knew that their relationship was not easy, but she also knew that they were in this together. She leaned in and captured Emma's lips in a soft and tender kiss, pouring all her love and emotions into it.
As they broke apart, Emma could see the worry and fear melting away from Abigail's eyes. This was why she had wanted to make their last night in Paris special, to remind Abigail that they were in this together, no matter what the world threw at them.
They spent the rest of the night cuddled up in each other's arms, talking about their future and reminiscing about their past. As the night turned into day, they both knew that it was time to say goodbye to Paris and head back home. But no matter what the future held, they would always have this magical trip to Paris, filled with love, laughter, and memories that would last a lifetime. And that was all that mattered.
