Abigail POV

Abigail was relieved to hear the bell ringing, signaling the end of class. She had been struggling to pay attention all morning, and now she could finally take a break. Abigail hurriedly left her classroom, her backpack slung over her shoulder. She was excited to finally be finished with her morning classes and on her way to lunch.

She made her way to the cafeteria, and was glad to see that it was still relatively empty. She grabbed a plate of food, and began looking for her friends. Abigail spotted them at a table near the window, and she smiled as she made her way over.

Her friends were deep in conversation about their plans for the upcoming summer, and Abigail felt a wave of sadness. She was going away to college, and she wouldn't get to have this same lunch time experience with them again.

But Abigail quickly pushed her worries away and joined in the conversation, catching up on the latest gossip and laughing along with her friends.

Abigail had been a student at her high school for four years, and while she was familiar with the majority of the teachers, there was one person she had never seen before. As Abigail was sitting in the school cafeteria, she noticed a tall figure walking in the direction of the faculty lounge. She couldn't help but admire the woman as she walked confidently and gracefully across the room. As she got closer, Abigail realized it was the new teacher she bumped into this morning, Ms.Smith.

Abigail had heard rumors about Ms.Smith before she even arrived. Everyone in school was talking about the beautiful new teacher, and Abigail was no exception. She had to admit, the rumors were true. Ms.Smith was stunning. She was wearing a pale green dress with a white cardigan, and her dark wavy hair rested on her shoulders and back. Abigail watched as Ms.Smith smiled at a few of the students who greeted her. She watched as Ms.Smih interacted with the student and became a little jealous wishing it was her.

At that moment she realized her wish was about to come true, as she locked eyes with Ms.Smith who seemed to be walking in her direction.

Emma POV

Emma hummed a happy tune as she walked into the school cafeteria. It was her first day of teaching music at the high school, and she was looking forward to her first year of teaching.

As she grabbed a tray, she noticed a group of students at one of the tables. They were talking and laughing, and she immediately felt welcomed. She grabbed a sandwich and some chips, and made her way over to them.

The students were surprised to see their new music teacher, but welcomed her with big smiles. They introduced themselves and asked her questions about her background and why she decided to teach music.

Emma explained that she had been playing music since she was a little girl, and had always wanted to make a career out of it. She told them about her experiences at college and some of the things she planned to do in the classroom. The students were excited to have her as their teacher.

Emma said her goodbyes to her new students and headed back towards the door. That was until she locked eyes with the same beautiful girl she from this morning. She started to walk towards Abigail to say hi.

She walked up to Abigail and her friends.

'Good afternoon ladies' Emma said.

The girls all smiled and said good afternoon Ms.Smith.

Emma looks at Abigail.

'Hi! What's your name?' Emma asks.

'My name is Abigail'

'It's nice to see you again. I hope you have been watching where you have been walking today' Emma said with a smile.

Abigail returned the smile and said 'yes ma'am I have'.

'I'm glad to hear that, we wouldn't want anyone getting hurt' says Emma.

'No ma'am we wouldn't' says Abigail.

Emma continues to look at Abigail. Thinking she must be a person of a few words and wished she was able to hear the sweet sound of her voice just a little longer. However, she needs to get back to her class so she has enough time to eat lunch and get everything ready for her next class.

'I will see you tomorrow ladies, and I will see you next period Abigail' say Emma

She walks away and heads to her class room with just enough time to spare.
