A/N What if Naira and Kartik didn't die in the show? How would Akshara's life then turn out to be? Will she get the childhood she deserves? Will she get the love that she needs? This is my version of Akshara's childhood. I hope you guys will like it!
A 5-year-old girl sleeping soundly on the bed wrapped in her favourite blankets. She tightly held Mr Teddy in her hands while sleeping. Her mother came into her room and shook her head. She is getting late for school and here she is sleeping soundly without any care in the world.
"Akshi, get up beta. You are getting late for school", said Naira. She settled on her bed making space for herself in between blankets and her Mr. Teddy. She caressed her daughter's hair to wake her up. Akshara scrunched her nose but didn't budge from her position.
"Akshi, uth na bache. Dekh kitna late ho rha hai", said Naira while caressing her daughter's soft hair.
Akshara whined and settled on her mother's lap. "I don't wanna go. Itni thnadi mai koi school jata hai kya".
"Arey school jane se thandi - garmi ka kya lena dena. School toh jana hi hai", said Naira.
"No, I don't wanna go. Aaj bahut thandi hai", said Akshara while shivering a little.
"Ok, nhi jana toh mat jaoo", said Naira. Akshara looked above and saw her mother with one eye. How did she agree so soon? thought Akshara.
"Mumma, pka na", asked Akshara once again to be sure.
"Haa, mat jaa beta. Mujhe toh lga tha ki tu brave hai, ek sherni ki beti hai pr nahi tu toh itni si thand se darr gyi. Bilkul apne papa ki tarah hai tu", Naira jokingly said it.
Akshara instantly got up from the blanket, and shouted, "No, I am just like you. Mai bhi sherni hoon", said Akshara while showing her invisible muscles to her mother. She admired her mother most in this world, she was her idol. So, Akshara always wants to be like her mother only.
"Acha, toh sherni toh thand se nhi darti. Pr aap toh dar gye", said Naira.
"No, mumma mai bhi sherni hoo. Dekho mai school jaa rhi woh bhi itni thandi mai", said Akshara proudly.
"Acha, toh ab aap bhi sherni ho gye ho. Kisi ko papa jaisa nhi ban na hai kya", said Kartik with a sad face. He is standing at the door hearing his wife and daughter talk.
Akshara bit her lip. She didn't want to upset her father but she she couldn't lie to him. So, she went towards him and hugged him tightly from the waist. Karthik laughed pulled her in his arms and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning, sweetie", said Kartik happily.
Akshara also kissed his cheeks and wished him good morning. "Papa, I love you so much. But I am a brave girl like mumma. Apko toh pta hai mai cockroach se, lizard se aur rat se bhi nhi darti hoon just like mumma. Aap gussa mat hona but mai apke jaise nhi ban paoongi", said Akshara. She got down from his arms and went to the washroom to get ready for the day.
Kartik looked at his wife with an open mouth. "Kya meri beti ne abhi mujhe darpok kaha", mumbled Kartik.
Naira could not control herself and laughed loudly. She pinched his cheeks and said, "Ab toh meri Akshi ne bhi maan liya hai ki tum darpok ho mendak, ek number ke darpok". She ran after saying this to her husband.
--------------------------------------------------------
Naira picked up Akshara from her school and now they going to the academy. It was Akshara's favourite time of the day. Her mother taught her dance. This time is only Naira and Akshi time so, no one is allowed to disturb them. The time which Naira can't spend with her mother due to her foolishness, she wants to spend with her daughter. She won't miss this bonding time at any cost.
"Mumma, kya aaj mai chan-chan pehn ke dance kr sakti hoon", asked Akshara cutely.
Naira laughed a little, "Akshi woh chan-chan nhi ghoongroo hote hai beta", said Naira and pinched her cheeks.
"Yes, whi. Kya mai aaj unhe pehn kr dance kr sakti hoon", asked Akshara cutely.
"Of course, baby. Mumma aur Akshi aaj ghoongroo pehn kr dance krnege", said Naira.
"Yayy, you are the best mumma", exclaimed Akshara. Naira laughed at her. She knew she was raising her kids well but hearing these words from your kid's mouth gives you a different type of satisfaction.
They stopped at the entrance of the Academy. Akshara proudly read the name on the board, "Akshara Dance Academy". Naira held her hand and went inside the academy.
"Mumma, jab mai badi ho jaoongi na toh mai bhi ek aisi hi big academy open karoongi", said Akshara happily.
"Ohh really! Toh aap uska kya naam rakhoge", asked Naira.
"Woh toh maine socha hi nhi", replied Akshara cutely.
"Bina naam ke toh hum academy nhi khol sakte na", said Naira. They came to the rehearsal hall where Naira helped Akshara in changing into Anarkali suit. She tied her dupatta around her waist.
"Mumma, chan-chan", asked Akshara.
"Haa, baba pehhna rho hoo tujhe tere chan-chan", said Naira. She sat down on her knees and put ghoongroo on her daughter's feet. Akshara is super happy wearing it. She is running in the whole hall wearing it. Akshu loved the voice it produced.
Naira smiled at her daughter's enthusiasm. She is a really special miracle who filled her life with happiness only.
"Akshi, bas bacha tu thak jayegi. Phir dance kaise kregi", said Naira. She stopped her daughter's running marathon. After getting ready for the dance, Naira started teaching Akshara some easy classical steps and much to her delight she was doing it pretty well. It was the first time that she was teaching Akshara classical dance and she was grasping it pretty quickly, better than the western dance.
"Wow, Akshi aap toh bahut acha dance kr rhe ho. Agar aisey hi krte rhe toh ek din mumma se bhi acha dance krne lgo ge aap toh", said Naira. She kissed her cheeks. It is important to praise your kids when they do something right. It boosts children's confidence and belief in themselves.
"Sachi mumma", asked Akshara.
"Muchi", replied Naira. She sat down on the ground with Akshara in her lap.
"Mumma, maine soch liya hai ki mai apni Academy ka kya naam rakhoongi", said Akshara after she had given a lot of thought to it. Naira arched her eyebrows to tell her daughter about what she was thinking.
"Naira Dance Academy", said Akshara.
"Kyu, aap yhi naam kyu rakhoge", asked Naira. Akshara scrunched her forehead a little. She did not think about it.
"Kyuki I love you most in this world. Toh apni academy ka naam apne favourite person ke naam pr rakhoongi", said Akshara. Tears brimmed in Naira's eyes listening to this. Her daughter is the best in this world. She kissed her face multiple times.
"Mumma also loved her Akshi most in this world. Aap mai toh mumma ki jaan basti hai Akshi. Jab bhi mumma apko haste huye dekhti hai toh apni sari problems aur sari tensions bhool jati hai. You are the biggest blessing of my life. My biggest blessing. Thank you for coming in mumma's life, baby", said Naira emotionally.
Akshara cutely wiped her mother's tears and said, "Mumma sherni kabhi roti nhi hai. Aur toh world ki biggest sherni ho toh aap toh bilkul bhi nhi ro sakti", said Akshara. Naira laughed looking at her horrid face.
"Okay, sherni ki beti. Mai nhi ro rhi hoon", said Naira and wiped her tears. She kissed her biggest blessing. She looked upwards to thank her mother for sending her another Akshara so, she cannot miss her anymore.
