Hello Everyone! 😘

This chapter is a little disturbing. It contains sexual abuse. Very mature themes. If you don't want to read about these in detail, skip the "PAST" sections in the chapter.

"She'll be ok, Lauren. Stop worrying." Damien told me, putting an assuring hand on my back. "Stop tapping your foot so quickly, at least." Then he moved his hand to tap on my knee which got my foot from moving.

"I know she'll be ok." I looked at Damien beside me. "She just- god I hope she gets better. I hope she is honest with me, Damien. It really feels like shit knowing she's hurting and won't tell me about it."

"She wants to get better." Damien told me. "I heard her say it. It's just hard for her, because of the pills. Because of shit she's been through, which she'll tell you about."

"You think she will?" I look at him hopeful. "If she tells me I can help. I can help her through it like I have been."

"There's only so much we can do." Damien said.

I nodded in agreement. "I told the doctor before, and he's gonna offer Rhea a therapist to talk to. Someone she can get all of the shit that's inside her head out. To not me or you, to someone who knows exactly what to reply with. How to help her through things and her feelings. How to deal with them better."

Damien smiled a little. "I know that'd be helpful. She just needs to get on this medication. Sort the Drew commotion out later."

Drew.

The more I was hearing his name, the less I cared about him. The more I actually began to hate him. Already.

I spotted Rheas doctor coming down the hall and stood up, Damien following me. "Hey, guys. Rhea has actually requested if-" he looked at me. "Lauren, if you would come in and sit with her while she has her medications. She's having trouble with it."

I looked to Damien and he nodded me forward. "Go help her."

Heading towards the room they gave her for the night, I remembered how she was when we arrived here. Barely letting me go when she spoke softly to the doctor. I had to speak for her, plus Damien and tell them about her disorder and what she went through. They done a general check over her, which Damien and I both had to step out for. Oh, but she didn't want me to go...

She actually asked the doctor if her girlfriend can stay.

Her girlfriend.

I told her she'd be fine, and it would only be a few minutes she'd be alone for, and she eventually let my arm go.

Entering her room again, she was sat on the edge of the bed, fingers white as she gripped the covers in one hand, and the bottle of pills in the other.

"Here's Lauren, Rhea. Remember, 2 tablets this time." The doctor said, reminding Rhea. And he stood back to study us, and it was a little awkward, but I get that he had to make sure she took them.

Rheas shaking fingers handed me the bottle. "2 tablets?" I looked at the doctor.

"Oh." He stood straighter. "Yes, so these are slightly higher of a dosage than the previous medication, but only 2 a day now together." He explained.

"Ok." I looked down and got two pills out, finding her glass of water on the bedside table. "You ok?" I whispered, looking at her lazy eyes. She shrugged.

God my heart...

"One at a time. That's all." I offered her one. "Remember, these make you feel good. These will make you happy and make you not so angry. Not so sad." I tried to explain and talk them up and encourage her. She took it and put it in her mouth, grabbing the water and taking some in her mouth. She didn't swallow. So I continued my words of encouragement. "These make you feel good, I promise. You're so safe here, you're so-" Rhea swallowed it, clearing her throat after and taking the other from my hand and putting that in her mouth, followed by more water.
