"What the fucks a shooey?" Dom looked between Rhea and I, wondering what the hell we were talking about.
Rhea smiled and I chuckled, actually answering. "You drink alcohol, usually beer, from your shoe. We'll do one in Australia this weekend." I touched his arm.
Rheas arm came around my shoulder. "Doms not man enough to drink from shoe." He looked offended. "You need balls to do it." Rhea twisted the knife some more.
"So coming from the two women here." Dom said.
"Lauren definitely has more balls than everyone here combined." Rhea said. I think it was a compliment?
"Alright, alright. I gotta go." I touched Rheas arm. "I need to find Sami for his match."
Rheas hand grabbed mine. "Lauren... Please, just do your job and don't-" she came in to whisper. "Don't provoke him or anything."
I was helping both Sami and Drew with their match tonight, and I was nervous to be around Drew, yet, wanting to get it over and done with.
"I'll be with you soon, ok? I just need to go see-" she breathed out. "Actually I'll come with you now and-"
"Rhea." I calmed her down and grabbed her hand. "I'm just gonna do my job, I promise you. If he says or does anything, I'll tell you."
Rheas eyes looked so sad. "I'm so sorry, Ren. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable or scared around the guy."
"I'm not. If anything I want to punch his head in." I tried to lighten any sort of mood.
Rhea shook her head. "Don't provoke him, Lauren, means don't punch his head in." She stared at me.
I squeezed her hand. "I know, baby."
"Mmm." Rhea hummed and she looked at me like she wanted to devour me.
I smirked. "Call me daddy first." Rhea rolled her eyes and I swiftly left to find Sami and then... Drew.
It started off fine, with everyone doing their job. Sami was the sweetest and I think he could tell there was tension between us, and he tried to lighten the mood with jokes. Of course I laughed, but Drew was fucking stoic and so boring.
He was being rude and it was getting on my nerves.
At one point, I was helping Sami deliver a powerbomb to Drew, and as much as I didn't care if he landed on his neck, it was my job to make sure he didn't.
"Try and get more in sync with the move, Drew." I said. "You're a large guy and it's not easy to life you up."
He didn't reply and Sami glanced at me. They practiced the move again, and Drew still didn't do it and it was hard on Sami to do the move. Way too hard.
And it was Drew's fault.
"Try and go into it more Drew, work together." It was so hard to keep my voice calm working with him. Knowing what he did...
"It's not my fault Sami isn't strong enough to lift me." Drew suddenly snapped and I saw Sami's mouth open.
Alright... Don't provoke him, Lauren...
"It's a team thing, Drew. You know it is." I said.
He looked at me harshly. "Carefully what tone you use-"
"Hey, Drew buddy. I don't know what happening here but-" Sami was shut up as Drew shoved him onto the ground.
Yeah...
Imma provoke him.
"I don't know how the hell you even still have a job with the type of fucking crap you do." I said to him, glancing at Sami who stood up, coming closer to me.
