"I'd rather have you wrapped around a lot better things, instead of you and your bike around a tree, Lauren." Rhea snapped at me, and I didn't realise I'd angered her so much by going 10 miles over the speed limit.

I turned the engine of my bike off and carefully hopped off, meeting Rhea. "It was 10 miles, Rhea." I tried to calm her down, but failed.

"And 10 miles over doesn't sound like much. But does 15 kilometres over the speed limit sound like a lot?"

Ok... That was a lot. Stupid Australia, stupid America. Yeah, stupid me.

"Sorry. Yeah, it was a lot." I admitted, Rhea crossing her arms at me.

I'd just driven her home, with no intention of her wanting to stay here alone. I think she knew that I knew that, it was basically a drive here so she can get her stuff, and her own bike probably.

Oh.

"She's pretty." I put the photograph back in its spot and peeped at Rheas arm, finding the tattoo there.

"We're just friends, Ren." Rhea assured me, stepping out of her shoes and running her fingers through her hair.

I followed her through the entrance and down a small hall, where I sidestepped a dog bowl, or two. "You have dogs?"

"Two."

"Where are they?" I asked, scanning the kitchen we just came into, and then the lounge.

Rhea opened the fridge and pulled some water out, offering me one that I took. "At the Pet sitters, I'll have to go pick them up sometime." She looked down like she was sad about that. Not that she didn't want to see them, but...

"How long have they been there?" I asked.

Rhea shrugged. "A couple days now, since I left for Raw. I want to see them so badly, I love them, but I just..." she scratched her chin a bit uncomfortably. "I don't know if I can stay here. They'll be here, but it's still very lonely and-"
