I honestly have no idea what this is, so people don't judge. I had to do this thing for a competition and I decided to write this...and I decided may as well post it to you guys. Tell me whether it's worth getting up to the top 5's. Actually, tho, this is ridiculous, I was having second thoughts about posting but I needed to give you guys something so...
I started this 10 minutes before my mom came home and if she caught me that's the end of this account. Pretty much my life too. So, I have no idea, just enjoy, read have fun. Comment, and vote if you want!
She lowered herself onto the warm sand. The sound of the gentle waves lapping and the taste of salt in her hair was refreshing. The blonde sat there, enjoying the ocean breeze as she admired the beautiful sunrise. Pink, orange, and blue streaks of color decorated the once-pitch-black sky. The milky stars had faded, replaced by a half-risen glowing ball of fire.
Her hair hung loose, a little past her exposed shoulders that were covered in fresh scars. Her hair was gently pushed back by the golden locks. She dug her hands into the slightly damp sand, sighing contentedly.
"You're here."
She turned and her golden brown eyes clashed with ice blue ones that reminded her of a crystal clear sky and the ocean swirled together. The blonde boy smiled sadly, sinking to the place next to her. She tried not to let her eyes wander to the scars covering his skin. They sat in silence, both their eyes still fixed on the other. Their eyes glistened with unshed tears as flashbacks of their Last Battle flashed shooting through their mind.
They sat closer, staring at the sunrise, in an unsettling quiet. The ocean faded from a deep blue to a slight teal color. Sharing a thought, they glanced at each other, their small smiles fading. Both eyes bear unbelievable pain that shouldn't be inflicted upon them. Their thoughts flashed back to the battle, the day they had lost their friend.
" He died a hero, Ms Foster. He gave himself up for a good cause."
Keefe's eyes flashed with rage as he held a struggling blonde girl, who was fighting to be free. They were in the Wanderling Woods and they had both tried so hard not to snap but this was it." He didn't have to die if you had done what I told you to do! Instead, you decided you were so much better and did what you thought was right! Well, it wasn't right and now he's gone!" She screamed at Keefe's father and the Councillors, tears pouring down her cheeks. " The Neverseen weren't fully wrong. You guys are horrible." She spat at them, turning away, wiping their tears.
They both snapped back at the exact moment. A single tear trickled down Sophie's face. Keefe reached out and wiped it away. " He didn't deserve that." He whispered. Sophie nodded, lost in thought. He pulled her closer to him, allowing her to bury her face into his maroon shirt. Tears of his own leaked out. His best friend. His best friend was gone. Fitz. The one who supported Keefe through everything. Scolded him. Played with him. Comforted him. Was gone. Forever.
He stroked her blonde soft hair. He buried his face in her hair, his tears dampening her hair. "The Neverseen are gone. They can't do anything. Not anymore. They're gone." He assured. More for him than Sophie. " Just like Fitz," He added quietly. A new fresh batch of tears pricked both their eyes.
" I wouldn't be so sure of that."
To all of those staring at this wondering, is that all, yes. Especially you, Nicole. I know how much you wanted an update and I gave one to you! Haha. Anyway, should I make a part 2? Well, comment if I should or not. ~Iris
