Dedicated to @JuanitaNightshade
A suggestion from these people! I hope you like it! I tried my best to capture what you meant haha. JuanitaNIghtshade wanted a fight while TheMoonlark122 wanted Sophie sick and so I decided to combine them both! Let me know what you think!!
IM ALIVE! not really but yeah! Hey guys I apologise for not updating I was uhh in a crisis of some sort. Long story short I was supposed to be put in an Adoption Centre but I managed to lie and close the police case so I'm still stuck with my parents. *sighs* I should've said the truth and let them rot in jail but it is what it is!
Anyway back to this story I got this idea at the hospital and decided to write it out. Took me quite long yeesh. Also I'm almost done with another story so the next update will be soon, hopefully. I hope you enjoy this! I admit not the best I can do but again yeah well.

Sophie's POV
Sophie lay in their bed, shivering despite the three blankets wrapped around her. Her head throbbed with each heartbeat, a relentless drum of pain that matched her mounting anxiety. She had hoped that the blankets would provide comfort, but the worry gnawing at her insides was far worse than any physical cold. She was terrified of what might happen if Keefe noticed her condition—he would undoubtedly insist on a visit to Elwin, and that could lead to the truth about her pregnancy being revealed. She couldn't bear the thought of his reaction. Her migraine was worsening, a cruel reminder of the stress she was under. Each passing moment seemed to stretch endlessly as her discomfort grew. The nausea in her stomach made it feel as though she might collapse, though she was lying down. Her worry over how to hide her condition was compounded by the growing visible signs of pregnancy—her bellybutton had turned a deep blue, a color she understood a bit too much.
The sudden ring of her Imparter jolted her from her spiraling thoughts. She winced as the noise pierced her headache. With shaking hands, she reached for the device and saw Keefe's name flashing on the screen. Panic surged through her, but she forced herself to answer the call.
Keefe's face appeared, his grin warm and full of life. "Hey, Foster! You are so lucky—Team Valiant got a break today. There's a ton of paperwork, and Emery's voice is driving me insane!"
Sophie tried to muster a smile, her voice wavering slightly. "I wouldn't call it a break, since we still have paperwork to finish. I've barely started. Will you be home soon?"
Keefe's smile softened with a hint of concern. "I'm not sure yet. Alina's pushing Emery to give me more work. But I'm trying to find a way to get home sooner. I miss you too much to stay away for long anyway. We'll tackle that paperwork together when I'm back."
Sophie's heart ached at his words, knowing she was hiding something significant from him. She forced a cheerful tone. "Thanks, Keefe. I really miss you too."
"I'll see if Oralie can help me finish up early," Keefe said. "I'll be home as soon as I can. I love you. Bye!"
"I love you too. Bye!" Sophie managed to say before ending the call. She set the Imparter aside and sank back onto her pillows, her pain intensifying with each passing moment.
Hours later, Sophie's discomfort was nearly unbearable when she heard the front door open. Her heart raced as Keefe's footsteps approached their bedroom. She knew this was the moment she had dreaded—Keefe's arrival meant she had to maintain the façade of normalcy despite her condition.
Keefe entered the room, his expression shifting from casual to concerned as he saw her lying there, looking pale and clearly unwell. He crossed the room quickly, his eyes filled with worry.
