Chapter -3

                                                                            WINE AND THE MOON

   "Does the world is gonna end because of it?", Olivia asked holding her anger.

    "No...it doesn't", James said.

    "I don't care then. Now leave me", Olivia said checking the papers.

    "Having zero signal and network is no different from world ending. What can I do now? I have ordered my Gucci shirt. It's gonna arrive on that day. What if it gets delayed or canceled again?", James said without noticing how irritated was Olivia.

    When he looked at her who is trying her best to control herself from beating up him for disturbing her work over some stupid thing, he knew he should run for his life.

  "Oh! someone is calling me?", James said grabbing the phone on the table.

  "That's my phone. Now leave and don't disturb me", Olivia said gritting her teeth.

    Soon James left and Olivia started her works like printing papers and helping her seniors. Her phone rang once again. She saw her senior looking at her. She gave a awkward smile and sighed softly looking at her phone. After an hour, it was the lunch break. she grabbed the sandwich she made in the morning and went to terrace.

   She dialed the number again. "Hello, Clara, sorry I was in the work.", Olivia.

    "Is that so? It's a lunch time for, isn't it?", Clara.

    "Yes, I am having sandwich.", Olivia.

    "Where are you? Don't tell me that you are at the terrace alone.", Clara.

     "No, I will leave after eating.", Olivia.

     "I said that it's dangerous to be alone there.", Clara.

      "Don't worry. When are you returning?" , Olivia.

      "By 7 pm. And everything ended well. Let's go to pub and throw a party tonight.", Clara said excitedly.

      "Pub? Today? Yay don't you get tired?", Olivia asked.

      "I have everlasting energy battery.", Clara said with a laugh.

       "Nope. How about this? We will have some wine and homemade dinner tonight at my place. And chat a little and read lot of books.", Olivia suggested.

      "Okay cool! Then I will bring wine and make me your special pasta and cheese sandwich. Also don't forget my Choco truffles.", Clara.

      "Okay then let's meet tonight.", Olivia said munching her food.

       "Yeah. And don't work overtime tonight", Clara.

       "Okay Bye", Olivia.

       "Bye", Clara.

The moon filled the night sky with its beautiful presence. Olivia is at her apartment. Tasting the foods, making sure that everything tastes good. She arranged the foods on the dining table in her balcony. And added few flowers and scented candles.

Soon she heard the bell and opened the door. There stood Clara, friend of Olivia. Ash colored hair, with a beautiful feather cut, knee length lavender colored dress with a white handbag of Gucci and a trolly of clothes.

Upon seeing her, Clara asked, "Missed me?" looking at Olivia.

Olivia hugged her and said, "Nope". Clara snorted at her words, "At least act like you missed me. Hmph! You know what I missed you lot"
