I walked over to Tessa's room as I watched her crying on the bed in her hotel room. I sighed and then walked over to her, tapping on her left shoulder. Tessa turned her body around, giving her undivided attention to me.
"What do you want?" Tessa asked me.
I paused to think about what I was going to say. She had a photo of the Jonas Brothers up on her phone and continued to cry in silence. No whimpers, no wails, no nothing.
"I'm sorry," I answered. "I shouldn't have acted like that in front of them."
She turned around and then stood up from her bed, jumping lightly to hug me. She was smiling and all of a sudden I turned her emotions around. Just like that.
"I forgive you, Jess," Tessa replied. "You are more important to me than them by a thousand miles!"
She walked outside of the room and into the kitchen, making herself a coffee with the maker she brought from home. Tessa drank the coffee while intensely staring at me as I walked into the room.
"We're still going to that concert in August," Tessa declared. "We need to make sure we look good and noticeable for those floor seats!"
Floor seats? My sensory overload is not going to be able to keep up with that in any way. I looked at Tessa who was so excited to be speaking about the concert, even though it was months away.
"Are you sure we should be getting floor seats?" I asked her. "I think we should get something more far away!"
Tessa was stirring her coffee while looking at me like she usually does with that Tessa smirk.
"Nonsense, Jess!" She replied. "I'll bring you a pair of earbuds!"
~
It's the next day and Tessa and I rush over to the shop, looking for what to buy for our boat trip Tessa booked. The boat is going to take us to Miami I'm pretty sure. I glared at Tessa and she's laughing while grabbing her things and putting them into a suitcase. I don't know what she's doing, but I hope it's not what I think she's doing.
"So, Tess," I stated. "What do we have planned today?"
Tessa smiled at me and then looked at her phone. She gasped, dropping her phone to the floor.
"What?" I asked. "What's going on?"
She picked her phone off the floor and rushed over to me, sitting next to me. She pulled up an article off her phone and looked at me with a devious glare.
"Here," She replied. "I don't have the time for this. We're going to be late to our cruise!"
Cruise? Article?
I took a look at the article and I saw that there was a photo of me spilling coffee on Joe Jonas. The article was titled 'Ordinary girl angrily throws coffee at Joe Jonas' I spat out my drink and then looked at Tessa, who was packing her things angrily and aggressively.
"Woah," I spoke. "They really like to keep tabs on him, don't they?"
"Of course they do!" Tessa shoved her stuff in. "They always do! They're important to people!"
"This article was taken out of proportion!" I shouted. "I didn't angrily spill the coffee on him. I made a mistake!"
"Well, you lost me any chance of ever forgiving you!" Tessa added.
I shook my head and then placed her phone on the coffee table while I rushed to pack my suitcase for the so-called cruise Tessa and I were going on.
"Pack everything!" She added. "We're not coming back to this hotel!"
~
As I finished packing my suitcase, Tessa and I walked out of the hotel, cleaning it up after ourselves. I took out the trash and Tessa broomed to make sure it was spotless. This suite room almost looked like an apartment, so it wasn't the easiest hotel for us to clean up.
"It's time for us to go," Tessa said, looking around the room. "CRUISE WE GO!"
We walked out of the hotel room and then while Tessa was checking out, I walked outside to the taxi with both our suitcases, putting them in the back while I sat there. Tessa walked out and sat herself in the front seat.
"Where to?" The taxi driver asked us.
"The dock," Tessa answered.
The driver drove us to the dock and not a single word was exchanged by any of us. She wouldn't look at me and I wouldn't talk to her. I sighed, looking outside and then at the dock.
~
As we finally arrived at the dock, Tessa and I got out of the car, getting our suitcases out of the back. The suitcases kept hitting me and going from side to side the entire ride. I'm surprised I don't have bruises yet.
We walked to the dock and handed the lady our tickets. She nodded, and allowed us on board.
This cruise was so fancy. Too fancy for my liking. It had stairs on each side with rooms on the first floor and the second floor. When I looked to my left, there was a sushi bar and when I looked to my right, there was a humongous bar. As I tried to walk toward the bar, Tessa yanked on my arm and walked the both of us up to the location of our room.
This room was like your ordinary hotel room, except it had two beds and a TV that had streaming platforms on it. Usually, hotels and cruises have TVs that you have to use through channels with horrible shows and movies on them.
"I'm going to explore downstairs." I told Tessa. "I'll be back in a few!"
I walked down the stairs and then toward the bar downstairs, grabbing myself a drink. I always ask for a nice white wine at these types of vacations Tessa always has me on, except they're usually on the West Coast, and on land.
As I finished my drink, the bartender walked over and refilled my drink. This time, it was with red wine. I hated red wine, but at this point, I was going to down any form of alcohol. I needed to get this off my chest.
My vision was blurry at this point and I could not see very well. I noticed a figure sitting next to me, asking for a scotch on the rocks. I rolled my eyes and then I noticed him turning toward me, seeing me in a panic.
"You're following me everywhere, aren't you?" A familiar voice asked me.
I looked to see who it was, and I was more than shocked. I rubbed my eyes in hopes I could actually see him better.
"Joe Jonas?" I asked.
