It has been about three weeks since I saw Joe backstage. The Rumors are starting to stir around, as he stopped wearing his ring to the concerts he is performing at. Right now, he is in Houston Texas, playing without a single ring on his finger.
I lay back in my small, cute apartment in Montana as my best friend rings me.
"Hello?" I asked her.
"Are you down to see the Jonas Brothers on the eleventh?" She asked me.
I paused and then looked at what day that was. I have work on that day. I have to teach.
"I have work, Tess." I answered.
"You can miss a single day!" Tessa responded.
I didn't want to be on the school's bad side already. I started two weeks ago and so far; it's going really well. I don't want it to start to fall apart for me, as this is finally the time, I get to use my master's degree.
"Also, there's so much speculation about Joe getting divorced right now!" Tessa exclaimed. "I might actually have a chance to be with him!"
Tessa was a heavy believer in the fact that a Jonas Brother would be in love with her someday. I was a girl that didn't believe in such things. Tessa was a girl that always had a passion and always won in anything she exceeded.

I woke up and got dressed. I wore a white shirt with a pair of those red jeans, the same design that Nick Jonas wore the day I met him and Joe. I sighed, grabbing my work bag and heading out to work for the day. Before I got into my new car, my phone started to buzz and I looked to see that Joe Jonas was calling me again. The fourth time this week.
"Hey, Jess," Joe started to say.
"You call me Jessica!" I corrected him.
"...Jessica," Joe corrected himself. "So, I stopped wearing my ring and people are speculating."
I sighed and then got into my car, putting Joe on speaker phone as I buckled my seatbelt.
"Isn't that what you want, pretty boy?" I asked him.
He chuckled at the remark.
"Hitting on me already?" Joe asked.
"If you want to see it that way." I replied.
Joe and I spoke the entire drive to work, which was about a twenty minute drive. He spoke about how he is so excited to be divorced from his wife and about how he is so excited to start fresh in his life. I sighed, as I started to drink the bottle of water in the coaster of my car.
"So, Joe," I started to speak. "Are you sure about leaking it to the press?"
Joe went silent and so did I. I pulled up to the school and Joe sighed before he started to speak.
"Yes," He answered. "I'm ready to leak it now."
"I have to go, Joe." I said as I parked my car.
"It was nice talking to you, Jessica." Joe hung up.
How does he have the time to call me when he is on his huge tour? I did hear bumps in the car. Must be from the vans that are driving him throughout the tour.
I walked out of my car and into the building again. I sighed, opening the door to the school and seeing the other teachers wave at me made me feel blessed. It felt so nice to be here, that I am sad I might never have to do it again.
I sat myself on the desk chair and looked out at the students as I took the roll papers out of my bag, placing them on the desk. I placed the paper on a clipboard and then looked out at the students again. One of them waved at me and the other rolled her eyes while grabbing out papers from her backpack.
After I finished calling roll, I set the clipboard down and then smiled around the room. I turned the document reader on to the math homework from last night and the students started turning them into the bin.

I keep thinking about that call with Joe. The one I had this morning on my way to work. I looked at my phone and looked for Tessa's number. I called it and she answered immediately.
"Can you pay for me to come home for that concert?" I asked her, as I walked to the teachers' lounge.
