Chapter 12

Axzen's POV
We were in the middle of getting ready for school when, Felixa started taking deep breaths.

"My love? Is it time?"

She sat back down on our bed.

"Baby?"

She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. I cupped her face.

"Can you walk? I can carry you to the car."

"D-deal with the bags. H-hopefully....I can walk."

I quickly got us both ready then helped her stand up. She kept taking deep breaths.

"It's okay. Just keep breathing. I love you. You're gonna be okay. Ready to meet our sons?"

She managed to smile.

"Yes. I am."

I stood in front of her and held her hands. I started bringing her to the car.

"That's it. Breathe baby. We're almost to the car."

"T-the bags!"

"I know honey. You're more important. You need to sit down."

We got out to the car and I unlocked it. I opened the passenger side door. I slowly started helping her sit down.

"There we go. Keep breathing. Let me know if your water breaks. Do not worry about the car. Okay? I can always clean it."

She sat down and I put the seatbelt on her.

"I'll be back. Hang on."

I ran inside and grabbed our hospital bags. I ran back outside and slammed the front door shut. I locked it then ran back out to the car. I threw the bags into the back seat then shut the door.

"B-baby?!"

I ran to the driver side of the car. I opened the car door then jumped in. I quickly put my seatbelt on. I started the car and started driving.

"I'm timing your contractions. They're getting closer together."

"A-are we almost there?!"

"Yes my darling. We are."

At the hospital, I ran inside and grabbed a wheelchair. Felixa was quickly put into a private hospital room.

"The epidural should start to work soon. It's okay."

Bolt was born first. Jaxon was born 5 minutes later.

I held Bolt first and Felixa held Jaxon first. Tears started coming out of my eyes.

"Hi buddy. You look just like your mommy."

"And Jaxon looks just like his daddy."

I put Bolt down on Felixa's chest. He wrapped his little arm around Jaxon's back.

"Awww! Look! They're best friends already!"

I chuckled. I bent down then kissed Felixa.

"I'm proud of you. You did it. We now have two beautiful little boys."

"Here. Take Jax."

I bent down and picked Jaxon up.

"Woah. He actually does look like me. Hey little man."

Felixa started falling asleep after a while. I took my shirt off. I bent down and scooped the twins up. I started holding both of our sons at the same time. I walked over to the couch and sat down. I put the both of them on my chest.

Jaxon started holding Bolt's hand.

"Awww do you love your big brother already?"

I kissed their foreheads. The three of us closed our eyes. I wasn't tired. I was just enjoying the peace and quiet of the room.
