Chapter 25

Axzen's POV
I started keeping a closer eye on everyone. Caroline walked up to me.

"Anything yet?"

"No. Nothing. We should go check on the tiger cubs. Hopefully they're all okay."

"Are they in the enclosure yet?"

"Not that I know of."

We went to check on the tiger cubs and saw they were sleeping. Someone dressed as a vet was about to walk into their inside enclosure.

"Um who're you? The cubs are healthy. They just got checked a few days ago."

"Show us your ID."

The person started running.

"Zen go! Go!"

I ran after the person. I caught up to them and slammed them up against the concrete wall.

"Who are you?!"

I didn't notice something was wrong until it was too late. I started feeling strange. I collapsed and started having a seizure. It all went black and I woke up in the hospital.

What the hell just happened?

I sat up a bit and regretted it. I looked around. I saw Felixa and Caroline talking.

"L-Lix? C-Carol?"

They stopped talking and ran up to me.

"Thank god!"

"D-did I just overdose?"

"Yeah."

"What the fuck?"

"We were so worried."

I laid back down.

"I-I have to get back to the zoo. I-I need to find who did this."

"You're not going anywhere right now. You need to rest."

"Where're the kids?"

"They're with your mom."

I was in the hospital for about a week. I didn't become addicted to anything. That's not me.

The person was caught a few months later.

3 years later, I came home a few hours late. I found Felixa in our room.

"Hey. I'm sorry for coming home late. I couldn't help it."

"It's fine. How was your day?"

"Fine. How was yours?"

"Good. The kids had a play date with Jesse. I was thinking...maybe....we should have another baby?"

"Okay."

"Damn. That was easy. I was expecting you to say that, you had to think about it."

"I'm fine with whatever you want."

"I was joking about having ten kids."

"Oh..."

"Why'd you say it like that?"

"I thought...you were serious...."

"What?! Ax-I-it was a joke!"

"I didn't know! But....I'm just saying...we have the room."

"You fucking-"

She started giving me those bloody puppy dog eyes.

"Oh no. No no no. No. Nope. I'm the one who needs to think now."

"So...no sex tonight?"

"Honey...I'm not saying that. I just...need to think about having ten kids. Will it make you happy though?"

She nodded.

"I'll consider it then."

Her face lit up.

"Really?"

"Yes."

I bent down and slowly started kissing her. She slid her hands up my chest and started unbuttoning my shirt. I started taking my belt off. I started sliding the straps of her nightgown down her arms.

She let it slide down her body. I picked her up. She wrapped her legs around my waist. She cupped my face. She started kissing me.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I started walking to our bed. I laid down and put her on top of me. She straddled me.

"Ready?"

"Mmm. Yes baby. I'm ready."

She lifted the blanket up and covered us a little bit. She started moving her hips. I put my hands on her hips and pushed her down.

A moan escaped her mouth. She immediately covered her mouth.

"I-I don't want to wake the kids up."

"I understand. I don't want to wake them up either. Let's do our best to stay quiet."

I flipped her so she'd be on her back. I started thrusting into her. She cupped my face and started kissing me. I gripped the bedsheets.

I felt myself climax. I moaned into her mouth. We finished without waking the kids up.

"Good girl."

"Good boy."

I smirked.
