Chapter 26

Axzen's POV
My alarm went off and I opened my eyes. I sat up and picked my phone up. I turned my alarm off then stood up. I walked to Felixa's side of the bed. I moved hair out of tue way. I bent down and kissed her forehead then kissed her cheek.

She slowly opened her eyes.

"Good morning baby."

"Good morning my darling. Take your time waking up. I know you had a rough night. I'll handle the little ones."

I got dressed then went to wake the boys up. I went into Bolt's room first. I walked up to him. I started rubbing his back.

"Bolt? It's time to wake up. You start kindergarten today."

He rolled over and opened his eyes.

"Hi daddy."

"Hey buddy. Let's get you dressed. I'll go wake your brother up next."

He sat up then stretched.

"Can I come see you at work today?"

"We'll see. Let's see how your day goes."

I got him dressed then sent him to wait in the dining room. I went into Jaxon's room next. I walked up to him then started rubbing his back.

"Jax? It's time to wake up."

"No!"

"JJ...it's time to wake up. Do I need to wake mommy up?"

"No!"

"Jaxon Jason Nightingale...wake up."

He rolled over and stared at me. He crossed his arms.

"That's it. I'm waking mommy up."

"Nooo! I'm sorry!"

"Let's go. It's time to get dressed."

He wasn't happy about getting dressed. I sent him to wait in the dining room next. I went downstairs to the kitchen and got cereal ready for them.

I walked up to the dining room table and put the bowls down.

"Take your time. Okay?"

Two down..

I went into Kailiah's room first.

"Principessa? It's time to wake up. Please don't give me any problems. Mommy's very tired."

I got her dressed then sent her to the dining room.

"Your brothers are waiting for you in the dining room."

"I'm hungry!"

"I know. Wanna wake your sister up with me?"

She took off running.

"PIXIEEE!"

"No! Not like that!"

Phoenix started crying. I ran into her room. I picked her up then sat on her bed. I started rocking her.

"Shhhh. It's okay. It's okay."

"I'm sorry Nixie..."

I wiped some of Phoenix's tears away. I kissed her forehead then got her ready. We went into the dining room and the boys disappeared.

"Boys?! Where are you?!"

"Bathroom!"

I found them both brushing their teeth. I smiled.

"Good job. Let's go. You're both gonna be late. I'm gonna have mommy feed your sisters."

"But she's sleeping."

"I know but I have to get you both to school then I need to head to work."

I found Felixa already feeding the girls.

"Alright. We're leaving."

The boys ran up to Felixa.

"Bye mommy!"

"Bye! Have a good day!"

They hugged her and she kissed their foreheads. They hugged their sisters. I hugged the girls. I hugged Felixa then kissed her.

"Have a good day baby."

"You too. Call me if the girls cause any trouble. I love you."

"I love you too."

Bolt and Jaxon grabbed their school things. I noticed they had their lunchboxes.

"Mommy made food for us quickly."

"Oh good. I'm sorry that I almost forgot."

"It's okay!"

We got in the car and I started driving.

"Daddy? Can we listen to music?"

"Mhm. Of course."

"Ooo! Can I play my music on my phone?"

"Mhm."

We had gotten the kids their own phones just in case something happens. We got to the elementary school and we all got out of the car.
