Chapter 27

Axzen's POV
We started walking to the back of the school. We saw all of the other kids in lines.

"I love you both. Have a good day."

I hugged them then kissed the top of their heads.

"I love you. I will see you both later."

"I love you too!" They both said in unison.

They turned around and found their lines.

"Uncle Axy!!!"

I turned around and saw Jesse.

"Hey! Where's your mom?"

"I'm here."

"Hey Meg."

The bell rang and Jesse panicked. He quickly hugged Megan then ran off to his line.

"Bolt! Jaxon! Wait for me!!!!!"

Me and Megan started walking to our cars.

"How've you been?"

"I'm ready for Ethan to come. Only another month."

We got into our cars and drove in different directions. I got to work then parked.

Felixa's POV
"Okay girls. What're we doing today? Wanna go to the park?"

"No..."

"I miss daddy."

"Me too."

"I miss my brothers too."

"Same!"

"Aww girls. They'll be home soon. Once I get your brothers, we can go visit daddy. Sound good?"

"Where is he today?"

"He's at the aquarium."

"Oooo! Is he gonna play with the dolphins?!"

"Possibly. Go play. I'll come check on you in a bit. Be nice and share."

"Okay!"

Kailiah grabbed Phoenix's hand and they started running. Someone knocked on the door a few hours later. I looked at the security camera for the front door.

What's Larissa doing here?

I walked up to the front door and opened it.

"Hey. What's wrong?"

"We need to talk. It's about Axzen."

"Oh uh...he's not home."

"He's cheating on you with me."

"Um...what? You're lying. I'm with Zen everyday. There's no way. Plus..he loves me and the kids way too much. He'd never."

"He is though."

She took her phone out of her pocket and showed me a picture. It clearly WAS NOT Axzen!!

"Um that's not him."

"What? What do you mean?"

"Ax has tattoos and piercings. Remember? This person doesn't. I'm confused."

"I am too now. Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

I picked up a picture of Axzen and showed her.

"See? This is Axzen. That person isn't him. Even the eyes are different."

"You don't think...he's got a twin right?"

"If he does...then he doesn't know. He's never mentioned it to me. Can you send me that? I'm taking the kids to see him at work today. I can ask him then. I'm sure, Bethany'll explain."

She sent me the picture and I kept staring at it.

Who the hell is this?

Axzen never even looked like this.

What the hell is going on?

I brought the kids to visit Axzen at work. We found him and they ran up to him.

"Hey! How was your day?"

"Good!" They said at the same time.

"Hey uh..baby?"

"Hey. What's wrong?"

"Larissa stopped by today. She said that you're cheating on me with her."

"Huh? What? I'd never!"

"No no. I'm not done. She showed me this picture."

I took my phone out of my bag and showed him the picture.

"Do you know who this is?"

He picked up my phone.

"No. I don't. Why?"

"She thought...that was you. D-do you have a twin?"

"What? No. I only have Carol. If I had a twin...you would've met him."

"Maybe...your mom knows?"

"Yeah. I'll go ask her."

He took out his phone and started calling Bethany.
